Separate Security Issue: Update your Flash Player Note: Windows users should download the ActiveX for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).

Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the ActiveX.

Flash Player Version: 26.0.0.131

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Not sure what ya have going on there. But to start it shows here that you are using a outdated version of Flash. Please update this from the Control Panel Applet or by visiting. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/update-firefox-latest-version

I would also say after that to please clear your Cache then disable any Add On's/Extensions till you find your system behaving as it should. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-extensions-themes-to-fix-problems?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes

If that fails to work please follow this information https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware

There is a extension called Fat-Free Fox but only use that after you have solved the issue by following both Support Pages.

Please come back and let us know how it works out and if this solves your problem please mark your post as solved.

None of this option is helping. I already do that in safe mode i use acceleration and my drivers are updated. This is not because a problem with my pc this is problem with firefox. I use it at home and in my work and i have this same problem in my work i have windows 7 and is the same problem.i have also try it on a mac and again same problem take lots of ram and use cpu. Now i use google chrome and i have no prolem with this and other browser. Now you need to look into the code of firefox and fix the problem. Something is wrong with firefox and you need to fix that and release an update soon as possible. Thank tou

More than one process is normal for the current Firefox. http://www.ghacks.net/2016/07/22/multi-process-firefox/

Multi-process Firefox is codenamed "e10s". https://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox/multiprocess

Try to disable multi-process tabs in Firefox. You can disable multi-process tabs in Firefox by setting the related prefs to false on the about:config page.

browser.tabs.remote.autostart = false browser.tabs.remote.autostart.2 = false

http://www.ghacks.net/2016/07/22/multi-process-firefox/

Type about:config<enter> in the address bar. If a warning screen comes up, press the Be Careful button. At the top of the screen is a search bar.

I have done that and on the start, Firefox takes 200mb after visiting eBay for 5 min it takes 500mb and 20% CPU even when I am on the same page and do nothing. after few min later it takes more than 700mb ram and I have a problem to scroll the page up and down, shortly I am 100% sure it's a problem with firefox and no my PC because I use Microsoft edge, internet explorer, opera, google chrome and I don't have this problem with other browsers I use Firefox because it's very organized.
