I am in despair. I tried to change the account local directory. It didn't work. So, I tried to go back to the original directory (as I remembered) It didn't work. I then discovered that inside AppData there is both a "Local" and a "Roaming" branch. In each of these "Thunderbird" is only one entry. It seems to work best when I point to .../AppData/Roaming/Thunderbird, but my folders still aren't there. What does show up as folders are "Crash Reports", "Mail", "Profiles", and "Profiles.ini"

Interestingly enough, my filters and my addressees are still there.

Where are my folders and old letters?

HELP!!!

Look under Mail and ImapMail. And yes, it would normally be under Roaming.

However if you have been in the habit of changing the Local Directory setting, only you will know where they are.
