Why can't i try a theme by hovering my cursor over the theme image anymore?

I months past if i wanted to try a theme in Thunderbird, all i had to do was hover the cursor over that theme's thumbnail and it would reveal itself in my Thunderbird window as long as i kept my cursor there. If i liked it, i could download it for keeps. If not, then i just moved on. Recently i can't try these themes by hovering. Was this a Thunderbird update? Thanks, corey

Is it any different of you visit the theme's website in your browser? I'd never noticed this behaviour in Thunderbird.

I actually find Thunderbird's attempts to display Web pages rather irritating since they are often crippled by the lack of javascript support. I'd rather just have such pages open in a real browser where it all works properly.

Thanks. When i hover over Firefox themes, they display the preview just fine. Only Thunderbird is not showing the previews.
