Not directly in standard Thunderbird. However I know of (and have used) three ways to operate a shared address book. 1. Thunderbird can use LDAP, which is capable of publishing a communal calendar. I use one of these at my workplace. Note that is is read-only, and you need a tame geek to set things up for you. 2. You can create an address book on one of the free services, e.g. Google Contacts, and use an appropriate pug-in to synch Thunderbird with it. 3. There is another plugin which allows an address book to be synchronized to a remote storage medium. I don't know how well it works with multiple users. One option is an email server, so youcould set up a communal email address to use just for this.
