To whom it may concern:

When I first installed firefox a while ago something popped up and I wasn't paying attention to what it was before I clicked it and every since whenever I click share on any website it will not work.

It works in any other browser except for Firefox..

Many web pages provide an email icon to send an article to a non subscriber. When I try to do this Firefox wants me to open New Outlook. I use Classic Outlook and don't want to use the new version. How do I fix this?

Simple: just wanting to forward a news article to a friend, but I have to go through all this mess first !! I am running out of time, and may just quit. So frustrating.

I am trying to share a tab by right click it and choosing share.

I am clicking on my name when choosing who to share with; There's a small gmail icon next to it and it is also written (you).

I press send and never get any email.

How do I set this up to work?

• Since the last update the "File" menu choice disappeared. I used to use this to share (email) web pages.
• I restored the "File" toolbar eventually and can share with that again. However...
• The right-click menu on the tab Share selection does not work (it shows a list of email apps but does not include mine)
• My default choice (mailto) is properly set up in the Settings (in both Mozilla and Windows) so something is broken in Firefox.
• Adding the Share tool to the toolbar gives the same wrong result... shows a list of programs but does not include the default

Hello, Reinstalled Windows 10 and Outlook 2010 as the default email program. Firefox does not recognize Outlook to send links, and Outlook does not show up as a choice for sending links. Suggestions? Thank you.

When on a web page, if I would like to share that page with someone I go to the top of FireFox browser window, top left corner, left click on File , go down to Email Link... and left click on it.

Previous to two days ago it always opened my Gmail client and prefilled my information, subject and URL of the page and then I typed in the recipient's address.

Now it no longer shows the same window, it does not show the sent from information. Also it is sending from my wife's email address, which is hidden.

I am no longer able to send an article or something downloaded from the internet, via the email option offered, because I just get my own email sign-in box in the past and I want to be able to use this option again. Please tell me if there is a setting that's been changed. Thanks.

I believe there was a button to send a url link by email on Firefox. I tried to find that button everywhere, but I still can't find it and it didn't even get to an answer for this by asking questions on Mozilla website. Could you kindly guide me where to find that button?
