I have 4 rows of links on my desktop. How can I set these so that every article I read or You Tube video I watch doesn't replace something I want to stay on my desktop?

When Windows 11 reboots, and Firefox is restarted, it opens a very tiny window in the upper right part of the computer screen. Why is this? I believe I reported this before but it still is not resolved.

Mozilla Firefox is out of order and disappears. I try to down load it, but the message says that I need to find the Firefox version for windows 8 or 7 . My computer is on windows 10. Can you help ? Thanks.

I can't delete the malware "Startfenster. I tried to find help with "Google"-Search. Without any success! This malware exists for me in "Firefox" only. Other browsers are not affected. Perhaps anyone can help me... Thank's!

Several websites are not loading their content since yesterday. YouTube has a message "Try searching to get started" and even when I open a video, it won't play. X.com is not loading content in the pages. So far it's those two.

This happens occasionally for many months. It is still happening on v147.0.1. I start the computer, open Firefox, and the browser loads previously viewed pages, including my Gmail account. The Gmail page has me already logged in, and I DID NOT provide my password! This has to be a big security risk. If some one were to use my computer, or it was stolen, they would have complete access to my Gmail and all Google properties! OS - Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm) Kernel v6.1.0-42-amd64 Firefox v147.0.1 (and MANY previous versions)

Firefox lost all my passwords and bookmarks, not in any of only 3 profiles. Now it won't enter new passwords and Mozilla/Firefox support not working. I don't know if this is even being entered

When I select a text and right-click, the option to translate by Firefox's native translation feature appears. The default target language for this seems to be the defined by locale; for my case, it's always Turkish. How do I choose a different target language to appear in the context menu? I cannot see an option for default target language in settings.

When there are many tabs open, the displayed tab line re-centers automatically obscuring the open tab. Is there a way to disable this mechanism, or to insist that the open tab is kept visible? The current mechanism that obscures the open tab is user unfriendly.

With this latest update - which I hate by the way - I LOST EVERYTHING THAT I HAD SAVED ON FIREFOX. Bookmarks, passwords, EVERYTHING is missing.

I'm beyond angry. Recreating things will take HOURS that I don't have.

If there is someway to recover what I had you can begin to get back in my good graces.

I run the current version of firefox on a Windows 11 Dell Inspiron Laptop. My bookmarks are here, but the tags have disappeared. This has happened once before, and it took several days to restore the tags. Why is this happening? How do I prevent it?

I have been using 1Password 7 to manage my login credentials. It includes a Firefox extension to fill in account names and passwords in login alerts and pages.

Firefox 147.0.1 (macOS aarch64) in January 2026 has broken 1Password 7's ability to fill in account names and passwords.

To reproduce: 1. Install 1Password 7 Version 7.9.11 (70911000) and its extension version 4.7.5.90 in Firefox 147.0.1 on macOS. 2. Visit a URL for which 1Password 7 has login credentials. 3. Click on the toolbar icon for 1Password 7. A 1Password 7 dialogue box pops down from the icon, containing the username and password for that URL. 4. Click the Autofill button in that dialogue box.

Observed behaviour: 1. Username and Password fields remain blank.

Expected behaviour: 1. Username and Password from 1Password 7 appear in the Username and Password fields.

For approximately the last three months, there was a partial failure similar to this. 1. 1Password 7 popdown dialogue moves from the toolbar icon to the Firefox tab for that URL. 2. Username and Password fields remain blank. 3. Workaround: click in the username field, then tab 2-4 times to further UI objects in the login credentials form. Then click the 1Password toolbar icon, then click the Autofill button in the popdown dialogue. Then, the Username and Password from 1Password 7 appear in the Username and Password fields.

The expected behaviour occurs for the same URLs in Safari.

Thus I suspect that Firefox has somehow changed its behaviour in the last few months to cause this regression. I have not changed the 1Password software versions in this time, because I am intentionally using a previous version of 1Password.

I am looking for a fix or workaround which works with my current 1Password software version. I am not interested in a solution which requires me to upgrade to the current version of 1Password. (The current version of 1Password imposes a feature which I am resisting.) I realise that this reduces the chance that I can persuade the Firefox team to find and correct this regression.

Anyway, Im Trying To Print An Email Message To a PDF File But Instead I Get An Error Message That Says :

This problem just started with the latest version of Firefox that opens with two profiles. It worked for a short time and then failed. Firefox will not open if I choose the default profile. I can open Firefox if I choose Profile #2, but it has none of the history of the default profile. I lose all of my extensions, history, bookmarks - everything.

How can I get back to where I was yesterday? (Note: I'm just a user, not a computer geek, and don't understand the buzzwords or technospeak. I can follow clear instructions like copy, delete, rename, etc.)

I'm using an HP laptop with Windows 11.

I am using version 147.0.1 (don't know when last update) For the last 1.5 hrs I have been trying to restore the extensions icons as well as other, to the tool bar. when I close "customize" after putting them there they disappear, as does the "puzzle" piece I put up there. What is going on? I have read numerous articles on how to fix this to no avail. Only one character will stay to the right of the added search bar.

My geeksquad agent dumped me here. They were not able to fix the issue. My tools are not all on the bar, my book marks are not all here. They got some. There was a message that some other application was using my firefox and my tools and bookmarks wouldn't work. I am no tech person. I just want things back like they were and to know why this happened and I don't want it to happen again. Please help.

I am not a tech savy person. My firefox crashed on my laptop. Now all my book marks are gone. But the book marks are there on my iPhone. Can somebody please please help me to restore?

When printing puzzles from USA Today on my Canon Maxify, the crossword puzzle and the sudoku both show up as two pages, when they are only one each. If I don't change the setting from All to Current each time, it will print a blank page with each puzzle. This just started happening within the last month or two, but I have had Firefox/Duck Duck Go for many years. If I switch my browser and search engine to Google, which I hate, it shows and prints each puzzle properly. I don't know if it's the browser or the search engine, but it is a problem that I didn't have until recently. The print box is completely different from Firefox/Duck Duck Go to Google, so if it is Duck Duck Go that sets the printing box, I need to contact them. Firefox version 147.0 on Windows 10 on Lenovo laptop. Thanks in advance to anyone with a solution.
