I receive pdf files attahced to email but when they open they open in photoshop elements which I don't want.

  • Go to Options
  • Go to Applications
  • Find Portable Document Viewer (PDF)
  • Select any of the below
    • Preview in Firefox
    • Always Ask

or you can select to open the file. This should start your pdf file viewer program. From the program you can select to print, save, or whatever.
