I have been trying to log into mozilla.org for almost a week and finally gave up and created a new account.

Basically, I first tried logging in with my old account and it said wrong password, then I tried password retrieval but NO email was sent to me. I tried username retrieval and again NO email was sent to me. I have since repeated those steps about 4 or 5 times each but there just isn't any response from mozilla. Yes yes I checked spam folder etc and whatever else you're gunna suggest.. mozilla just isn't sending anything to me. So that needs to be fixed.

Tried making a new account under my original email address but it didn't let me because it said I already had one under that email address. So something is clearly wrong on your end.

I went and made a new account with a different email address and that worked, I received the confirmation email within a few seconds.

So please fix this because I would like to eventually retrieve my old account. I am not even sure why my password didn't work because I have never changed it and its been saved in my Roboform since the day I created the account.

Please look into this..

Cheers

I thought I made it clear I tried all the obvious stuff..

I have tried it using chrome too, my iphone as well. Yes its the correct email ID because I said above that mozilla wouldn't let me create a new account with the ID because one already existed.

Thanks anyway.. but this is purely a mozilla issue I assure you.

I should also mention that I do get this message when I reset..

"Password Reset

We've sent an email to any account using this address. Please follow the link in the email to reset your password."

Just no email.

The same problem here. Had to create a new account with a temporary email to use Support - it would not allow me to use my main email, because "it is used by another account". Try to reset password - receive no email (even though there is a confirmation on the website that email to reset password has been sent). At the same time can easily receive a confirmation about User ID and account activation. Thus, the account is completely locked, and I can not use my email address for a new one. Please fix this problem.

Can you clarify which mozilla.org site you mean?

There are a lot of website hosted on the mozilla.org domain and each have their own account with a user name and password.

The website is https://support.mozilla.org/en-US. As I said before, my account is being recognized by this site, I can receive an email confirming my ID and that the account is active. The only problem is with receiving an email that resets the password.
