I need Firefox 19 to open PDF files with Mac OS Preview
I have a web app that creates custom PDFs. They do not print properly with the v19 built-in PDF reader. I need Firefox 19 to work like 18, which allowed PDFs to open with Preview on the Mac. I've tried every setting option I can find, to no avail.

Disable the Adobe Reader plugin in Firefox (Tools > Add-ons > Plugins) and use the external Adobe Reader application or Preview application instead.
PDF files may be found under entries like Portable document or Adobe PDF document.
- Firefox > Preferences > Applications > Adobe PDF document : Use Adobe Reader
There is no Adobe Reader plugin in my Firefox 19 add-ons. I already have the Adobe Acrobat document set to "Use Preview." I still get the new built-in reader.
Cor-el, have you tested this with Firefox 19, or are you guessing based on older versions?
Okay, I found the problem. The PDF app is not under Adobe Acrobat FDF (which I thought was a bad font display of PDF), but rather under Portable Document Format with no mention of Adobe. When I changed that one to User Preview, it worked. Thanks for the help!
You can set the pdfjs.disabled pref to true on the about:config page to disable the build-in PDF viewer and use the Adobe Reader instead.
