Is that only happening with Firefox or with other browsers as well?

I think only Firefox. Thank you for helping. I am currently testing the fixes you've suggested and will report back soon.

I have not been able to resolve the problem at this location. However, I am now home and using another server and our wireless network connection on a linksys modem. There is absolutely no problem with my internet experience now.
