Hello,

Some french special characters are not correctly displayed (not aligned with the rest of the text, some space before or after) or not displayed at all :-( I think the issue is maybe due to ICS but I want to know: could you confirm ?

Best Regards.

Hi,

I believe this could be known bug https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=733124. Could you tell me what device you are using? I will add it the bug. Also, do you see this in the Firefox menus or on web pages?

Thank you! Michelle

Hello,

I followed the link you provided but unfortunately this is an invalid Bug Id

I see that in web pages not in the menu. The device I use is an Asus Tablet (Transformer TF101 I guess)

Does it help ?

Best Regards.

Michelle I edited your post because SUMO included the period as part of your link. That is why it works for you.

Hello, On my ASUS TF101G i solve this issue with this topic (Geckozone )

  1. goto about:config
  2. search for: font.default
  3. change font.default.x-unicode and x-western to SERIF

But for me there is another problem with special characters like "@" or "\" because use AltGr key in combination with "à" or "'-" have no effect.
