
I have mac os x lion and downloaded firefox 11.0. I cannot open pdf (blank page) in browser. I can do it with safari. What do I do?
I only get a blank page when I try to open PDF files in firefox. Somebody any ideas to solve the problem

Hi maverhey,
Have you looked at the View and edit PDF files using Firefox’s built-in viewer Knowledge Base article? There is a ton of useful information in there. They also list 2 different PDF plugins. I'd try both just to be safe.

Hi Matt, Thank you. To solve the problem (more or less) I did the following:
Firefox (upper left of mac screen, next to the apple symbol) ==> Preferences ==> For every 'content type' that has to do with adobe, you change the 'action' to 'Use Adobe Acrobat Pro' (or 'adobe reader' if you don't have the pro version).
Still... this is not really the 'ideal' solution since the pdf file that you need will open separately (by opening adobe pro or reader). You do have a plug-in, but I did not yet figure out where in my programs I can select the plugin needed and put in the 'action' window.
This could be an error in the last update for the Adobe Acrobat NPAPI Plugin. You can deactivate this in tools - addons - plugins.
