When I go to first-online.com, Firefox tells me that the site is not trusted. How do new certificate types get added into Firefox?

I don't know much about site certificates (that's my disclaimer). When I go to first-online.com, Firefox tells me that the site is not trusted. I do know that this site uses a Verisign Extended Validation Certificate....and this type of certificate is not listed when I look in my Firefox settings.

How do new certificate types get added into Firefox? Should the first-online.com website send information to Firefox, which would add this type of certificate into Firefox?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

The www.first-online.com server doesn't send a required intermediate certificate (VeriSign Class 3 Extended Validation SSL SGC CA).

You can inspect the certificate chain via a site like this:
