Hello:

Within Thunderbird, not able to access news.mozilla.org from "Manage newsgroup subscriptions" and then clicking on "Refresh." The newsgroup window in the "Subscribe" window does not populate. Could you please let me know what needs to be done so that the window will populate with newsgroups?

This may work: click account settings and then server settings and tick the box to always request authentication
