
"Side-by-side configuration is incorrect" prevents program even loading
The attached image shows the error message I get when I try to run Thunderbird. This has been the case for several months, and all of the suggestions I've found online have failed to make any difference at all.
It seems this must be a fairly common error with other software, but within Mozilla's help menus I could find only one thread of two messages that addressed it at all, with no solution offered.
I'm running Windows 11, and have had no problems with Thunderbird until this one.
I hope someone can offer a solution that works for me.

THis is a Windows error. My suggestion is to run a systems scan to fix windows errors to see if that fixes it. If this has been happening since installing thunderbird, I suggest installing another download over the top of the current version.
I have the same problem but Im on Win 10 Pro and its been working for years. Any help, please would be gratefully accepted. As I need all my contact data urgently, is there any way I can get to the address book and export the data, by any chance?
