Can not take address fom Junk folder
I had enail from The New York Times <nytdirect@nytimes.com> in my addess/inbpx. After some thunderbird update it is reguar ly appears in address/Junk folder and I ca not permanently return it to inbox. The New York Times <nytdirect@nytimes.com>i did enter it in personal address book because it promised not to send in Junk items mensioned in apersonal address book - effect, next day again in Junk. I right click on address in message text when in Junk folder and asked to deliver the messages in inbox before analizing for junk - again null effect.On clicking "Not Junk a particular message it sometimes opens in inbox but onl for this time, and next messages with The New York Times <nytdirect@nytimes.com> again surface in Junk folder. My subscription tp NT is active andthey regularly are sending me newsletters and alerts. I can not find what Thunderbird think mark the junk message. So I ask to tell me hhow to return this The New York Times <nytdirect@nytimes.com> to mu inbox and take it off the Junk folder.

Let me guess. Well, I have to as you have supplied nothing about your mail account. Is the address book you have placed the ny times in the same one as is listed in your account settings > junk settings for the account to be used as a white list?
My guess however is you use Yahoo probably, as they enforce their decisions on what is spam most vigorously. Putting the same email back in spam every few hours regardless of where you move it to. The solution is get an email provider that allows you some choice. Or I think uploading your address book to yahoo can also stop the madness, but you should not need to publish your entire address book to Yahoo to stop them making unilateral decisions about your mail.

Thank you for replay. Address f NYTimes s copied rom pa in Juk folder (Rgt lllk on adress "From" ad selected "Copy Name an Address, so I do not thnk there are some errors. Entry in personal address book also made his way I do not seeerrors there. My Thundebi s visualising essages from AOL Mail provider I did tnot see NY Times in he Spam folder there. I willcheck it again (Now the spamis empty.) Besides n junk settin as lear not to mark as jnk esages from entries in Personal Address Bok in Jukfolder. And finally I did othin in Junk settis. just after one updateof Thunderbird I began to eceve ens of junk messages, mosty about exiring memberships in where I evr was member, nd that NYTimes. By a way, to send reply to you I do not find the button "Repla", should guess that to repla I need to press "Not Solution".

AOL email is essentially Yahoo. Log on to your account via webmail, navigate to the Spam folder, and mark your NYT message 'As not spam'.
It woeks. Indeed, AOL Mail showed the NYTmes.commessaages in the Spam folder, but this address was not in the list of sam adresses. But anyway, click on "Not Spam" really has removed this address from the spam lisst, as AOL promised. So you really solved the problem. Many Thanks to you.

I tried to mark the problem as solved, but my p tp date Firefox said that it can not connect to the addres. I do not know address, just clicked. And all messages related to the problem I deleted (after clicks and replaing to yours.#
