Rogers is no longer generating codes to use for 3rd party apps such as Thunderbird. Consequently my husband's email is no longer funneling through. He is getting my emails to his folder. Is there any work around that you know of that will allow him to receive emails rather than utilized Rogers' web? If not, can you please instruct me on how to delete his account from Thunderbird. Thanks.

Looking at this site https://ca.help.yahoo.com/kb/rogers/SLN4075.html I can only guess that normal yahoo settings apply.

So you could create a yahoo app password here for your husband.

Or you could change the authentication method to OAuth in account settings and complete the authorization flow of web pages getting mail initiates after that to set up the more modern authentication. This does not require an app password ever and has been a feature of yahoo and I assume Rogers by default for years. It is the yahoo preferred authentication method.
