I use Thunderbird to receive my email from AOL. However, I keep getting a message t retry or update pass word. I have done both and then I get a message that says that the server is down. I do not know what that means.

The AOL "server" is what your computer communicates with to get your e-mail. If a server is down, that means it is not working.

Contact AOL customer service to find out what is going on.
