Fix error message "Unable to Connect" on YouTube website?
Hi all. Back in December I had the same problem when Firefox upgraded to 43 now after upgrade to 45 it's back. My problem is, and I went though all the steps as before, I must have gotten lucky the last time because it didn't work this time. Could someone please help me fix this error message on YouTube, "Unable to Connect", Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at pubads.g.doubleclick.net? Thanks.

There is security software like Avast and Kaspersky and BitDefender and ESET that intercept secure connections and send their own certificate.

This Connection is Untrusted is sometimes caused because the computer system clock is wrong. Check the time / date / time zone settings.
hi Fred, you and worked through this problem before. I have worked through your websites with no luck. What can we try now? I attached a screenshot of the problem.
Your problem is not with youtube (see bottom of your screen), but with an ad site at the top called; ad.doubleclick.net
What is te web address of that screen shot?
It's just YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/. What is ad.doubleclick.net? How do get rid of it?
It's part of the Youtube page.
Yes, whether I use a bookmark or do a clean search for YouTube.
