How can i retrieve all lost bookmarks, passwords and themes?

After trying sync i have lost ALL bookmarks even from bookmark toolbar, ALL passwords and ALL themes that i had saved. Since I have been using Firefox for years we are talking about years of saved passwords and bookmarks. I have tried several of suggested fixes found on the site to no avail. I have even tried disabling sync and then going back to trying it and nothing is found. Any help in retrieving the information that i so rely on for all my daily work would be appreciated.

Try to restore the bookmarks from a JSON backup in the bookmarkbackups folder.

  • Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import & Backup

Note that the name of a backup includes a total bookmarks count.

  • bookmarks-YYYY-MM-DD_<item-count>_<hash>.json

Will that work for lost saved passwords and themes as well?

Sorry no, passwords and themes are not backed up automatically by Firefox, just bookmarks.
