FF 40 broke my 1Password--no warning. Byebye FF, hello Safari

Updated to FF 40.0.2. Have Mac 10.6.8. 1 Password no longer works or even appears. Only option seems to be to return to FF39, or spend $ to upgrade. I like FF but Safari isn't that bad. Any help coming from you folks?

It looks like you should contact 1Password, they have some odd downloads and it looks like since you are using Mac 10.6, you might not be able to use the latest version of 1password. (https://agilebits.com/downloads)

Good news though is that you should be able to update to a newer version of Mac (10.10), http://www.apple.com/osx/how-to-upgrade/ (the upgrade is free!)

This is a good thing since not only is your version of Mac older and insecure, the newer versions offer better performance, battery life, stability and security. Firefox runs quite a bit better on them :) Then, after you update your Mac, update your 1Password and you should be all good to go.
