Ever since upgrade to 38.1.0 hyperlinks in messages won't open. Have tried ALL recommended fixes, have uninstalled/re-installed Tbird, nothing works!!…grrrrrrrrr!!

As mentioned, I already tried all of the fixes in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Hyperlinks-in-Messages-Not-Working and none of them worked. My own temporary fix was to downgrade to an older version of Thunderbird. That works for me and I will not upgrade until version 38.1.0 is fixed.
