My friend built a new computer and wants to get his bookmarks off his old HDD. How can we do that?
So my friend built a gaming rig to replace his old POS system. It's got new everything, but he still wanted to salvage his old Hard Drives. Like a moron, he took his hard drives out without backing anything up or exporting his bookmarks. Now he's asking me if he can recover the bookmarks. We've got the hard drive installed on his new PC and we can see that the old file system is still intact. Where can we go to get his bookmarks and get them onto Firefox on his new PC?

You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)

The "AppData" folder in Windows Vista is a hidden folder.
- C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\
Make sure that you are the owner of recovered files and have write permission.
