Cannot restore profile with backup_restore_profile.sh

Unda

Hello,

I tried to update my Flame with the base image v188 and the tutorial https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS/Developer_phone_guide/Flame. To do so, I made a backup using the script backup_restore_profile.sh with the option "-b --sdcard". I flashed my phone, but when I want restore my data with the -r option of the script, my phone cannot reboot. I'm stuck at the first screen with the animated Firefox ... To make the phone work and boot again, I need to flash it again, but then I don't have my data back ...

To import my contacts at least, I tried to mount the sdcards on my computer, but none of the two sdcards are showing up in my /dev directory whereas the USB Sharing options are enabled.

Did I miss something or is this a known issue ?

Since there are some people which seem to have met the same problem, I would like to inform them that, finally, I gave up and got some sleep (tired to have flashed my Flame 6 times in the night). When I woke up, I tried one last time to mount my CD cards, and they magically appear in my /dev directory on the first attempt. So I pasted a backup of my contacts on my SD card and reimport them, but I did not try to use the backup script again ... So it's kind of a happy end for me, but I was wondering if the issue with the script was known, and if there was a solution ...
