I’d like to know how to stay in private browsing in Firefox full-time, like other browsers. It seems that my history is always saved because your browser doesn’t give clear instructions on how to stay in private browsing. It makes you you tab over to private after hitting the + button.

Hello, I have Firefox installed on my pc which is running Windows 11 pro. I also have it installed on my iPhone 16 pro max, m4 iPad pro, MacBook Air & Android tablet. I recently deduplicated my bookmarks on my pc but the change never synced to any of my other devices. I tried signing out of my account on my phone earilier today, by disconnecting & reestablishing sync but it did not help. What might I try to rectify this situation? Safari on iOS has an option called “preload top hit”. It loads the most relevant website or search result in the background while you type so that there is no delay.

This feature is able to be turned off in Safari in iOS, but as far as I am aware, there is no way to do so in Firefox for iOS.

Please add the ability to disable this feature; it is interfering with my experience.

I have relied on Lo Wise for years have all of my passwords scored on it however, as of late my account says there is no passwords for my account even though everything is synced from computer and phone and Firefox and is up-to-date please help

Hi, I want to use Firefox for iOS to access all websites, including adult/xxx content. I want Enhanced Tracking Protection for privacy and ad-blocking, but I do not want adult sites blocked. Which settings should I click or disable in Firefox or iOS to allow this while keeping my browsing private? Any step-by-step guidance would be appreciated.

Be descriptive. Saying “playing video on YouTube is always choppy” will help us understand the issue better than saying “something is wrong” or “the app is broken”.

I am getting this error message whenever I try to log into my AT&T account with my user id and password, however it works just fine with Safari Care code: 201 [LU100]

I have a new iPad and want to transfer my browser history and settings from my old iPad to the new one. My iPad is for private use only. The only computer I have is my work laptop. The settings and history are very different between Firefox-at-work and Firefox-at-home. How do I get the new ipad to synch with my old one? The assumption seems to be that the user will want to synch everything to their computer and I have no use for work crap in my private life.

I’ve dowloaded firefox. i’ve read the tutorials for browsing setting private browsing but the “masked symbol never appears to click. I tried to download from “App Store” the Private Mode but indicated I had it and back to square one. I like it on my desktop bur can’t on my iPhone 11 Pro Max updated to highest release of IOS

Recently transferred from Chrome. My understanding was Firefox private browsing was supposed to work similarly to chrome incognito mode; once you close the browser, all local files are deleted and cookies are cleared.

However, with Firefox it maintains my logins. If I log into an account while private browsing and the close the browser, I’ll still be logged in next time I go to the website even if it’s days later (and I have never logged into this account in a non-private browsing window!)

I never had this issue using chrome incognito, so it seems to be a Firefox problem.

Is this just not something Firefox supports? Is there any way to prevent storage of cookies and private data?
