This AM I attempted to sign into my PayPal Business Acct. I have always done this via password (no biometrics or PassKey for me). Until today, when I was asked for my passkey PIN. I don't have one because I never set it up. I spoke with a woman at PayPal who tried to help me. She said it was probably something that my browser did so I should call FireFox or use a different browser. As for PayPal itself, while it has no record of a paykey, it would allow me to set one up because "this account already has a passkey". I tried a different browser and that ended in the same place. Pass key pin requested. I don't have it. It says that firefox "requested" the passkey. I find that very frustrating because I'm effectively "locked out " of my Paypal business account because of this. I've searched my computer to the best of my ability but I can't find where firefox hid this PIN from. Frankly, I don't see where Firefox gets off volunteering me for a passkey when I didn't ask for it, but not telling me makes no sense whatsoever. AFTERBTHE LAST UPDATE ALL MY PASSWORDS HAVE GONE , I COULDNOT FIND A WAY TO GET THEM BACK .I PUT IN 5 PASSWORDS THAT I NEEDED AND NOW THEY HAVE GONE .IS FIREFOX NO LONGER RELIABLE

I'm fed up of all the problems i'm having with Mozilla. i already uninstalled once. i will do it again if you do not allow me to use dashlane and keep putting obstacles in the way. I've been loyal for 10+ years but getting really fed up.

Regardless of Windows version and (as far as I can tell) Firfox version, password manager will not usefully store any password that begins or ends with and exclamation mark. It reveals only the exclamation mark itself when password is used.

Windows Hello / biometrics login to NordPass not working again. Same issue 3m ago. Nord says this is due to Mozilla changing Firefox (I'm not a techy so excuse this bit!) and as they dont liaise with Nord (or anyone else I assume) have to wait to see if biometric login is working or not then have to send a new release with a fix.

I am not querying this answer but wonder why comapnies cant somehow communicate so that the consumer is not adversly affected

Went to do something on a website, saw that I had been logged out, went to log in and it didn't auto-fill. Went to check the password but seemingly it isn't saved anymore.

The problem lies in the fact that I signed up with an email mask, used a random password and I can't get a recovery email sent to it. So am I perma locked out forever?

I'm just confused on how the saved password can disappear? Any help?

How can i import all passwords and logins from Firefox? I'm going to reinstall the system soon, so I need all my passwords (but I synced the browser on my computer and phone to import tabs, but I don't know how to import passwords)

Where is the option to import passwords vis csv on the app? I've followed all guidelines on hemp pages but I don't have the menu options and or functionality that they are guiding me to. I have tried the mobile app and on desktop and neither provide me with the import CSV option. In fact there is no option to import passwords at all, It only appears to save passwords one at a time.

Additionally to this I have autofill and synchronisation turned on but they just don't work. Autofill never autofills on forms and nothing happens if I long press and select autofill. Similarly I have Mozilla on my laptop and on my mobile app and they will not sync together.

The functionality and UX have transversing over to this app from another app seems archaic and clunky, am I missing something?
