I use LastPass to store lengthy passwords and auto open websites. After the latest Firefox update (148) when I click to open a website, the entire LastPass vault page just flickers and returns to the same vault page.

When I wake up Firefox from sleep overnight, it is unresponsive until I force quit. I am on v147.0.4 on my M4 Mac Mini. It doesn't happen in shorter sleep periods. I can click something in it and then when I switch to another app, it responds. But the browser on normal interactions won't respond at all.

I have used the OneTab browser extension for years. Mac computer ran out of space but was completely backed up. Got new computer. copied Firefox profile from the and updated the profiles.ini to use the backup data.

I used a backup dated 12 Feb 2026.

I was able to restore my bookmarks and passwords from this profile, but they seem to be from many years ago. I was not syncing to my Firefox account and saving the passwords to my computer. i assumed they would be in a bakup. None of my OneTab items were restored.

I wonder if part of the problem is that Firefox wants to ( and did) update my new computer to Firefox 145 or 147. I don't know which Firefox was running when I had the issue but I suspect it was older.

All of the storage/moz-extension files are there and firefox is using the correct profile data. Is there any way to find/read/extract the OneTab history? Where should I look? I contacted OneTab and all they could tell me was to look in storage/default/moz-extension.. ( nothing readable there) Thanks

Suddenly I have a South African Facebook occupying my fire fox log in. It won't let me go into my account. When I use Safari on the same Macbook I can get access, so somehow it was become fixed to my fire fox browser. How can I get rid of this South African Facebook block or should I just remove firefox as my long time browser. I've done all the cookie deletes and regular stuff. Dear Mozilla,

I use Firefox as my primary web browser.

I am constantly having to Force Quit Firefox in order to free up storage.

Please work on making Firefox handle storage better.

Right now when I right-click to translate a word or a full page, it automatically picks one of my country’s regional languages as the default. I only want translations to go to English, but I can’t find any setting in Firefox to change that. How do I make English the default (and only) translation language?

Firefox 147.0.4 (aarch64) "hangs" for 30 seconds to 1 minute when I launch it on my MacBookPro (OS Tahoe.26.3). Itwon't open the simple web page I have Firefox set to open when it launches -- and I can't navigate to any other web pages. When I try to interrupt, I get an Apple spinning beach ball until finally, Firefox opens that first page.

After working with Apple tech support, I have disabled a number of content barrier Extensions in Firefox-- which Apple tech support felt might have been causing this behavior. Nothing works. And I hesitate to run Firefox without some of them.

I tried deleting my Firefox user profile from my computer, but all that did was prevent Firefox from opening at all.

How can I stop this?

Firefox updated itself, and re-opened without all my tabs from the previous session. That session isn't available in history. Is there any way I can get these back? All my work was organised in tabs.

Note there are no enterprise policies in place.

I'm stumped. For years I kept Firefox on my Windows machine (Win10, 64bit, 8gb ram) at some level around 80x (I forget the number). I even recently switched over to Edge until I got fed up with its complicated design. So when I went back to Firefox, I upgraded to the latest 147.0.3 (64-bit). At first everything seemed okay. But then I noticed I was having trouble posting comments on any Washington Post comment section OR the whole thing would freeze up or other oddities. ONLY there. Everything else runs fine.

To add to the mystery, I walk upstairs to where I have a Mac (Sonoma, with 64gb ram) with Firefox 143.0.1. And I can post comments on the Washington Post, nothing freezes, everything works fine. So it can't be a problem on the Post's site itself.

Back on the Windows machine I have tried various Firefox settings, changing the permissions from strict to standard, changing the performance settings, turning Add ons off and on one by one, running in Safe Mode. But no changes change the problem on the Post comment section.

I'm at a loss to understand the difference. The Mac does have more Ram, but previous to my upgrade on the Windows machine, it was running the Post site just fine.

Hi, The last few times I have redesigned and uploaded my site (I use Weebly), certain pages do not show up on Firefox but do on other browsers. My site is www.devildoll.com and the pages: available, sold and commissions just show up as the grey box but the images do not load. When I look on Chrome, everything looks fine. I manually clear all youtube cookies. I have these youtube exceptions. After going to youtube, then checking "Manage Cookies and Site Data" I still see Firefox saved a youtube cookie.

Hello, since your I have donwloaded your latest Firefox update I have multiple issues with Firefox 147.0.4 on macos Tahoe version 26.3

If you google "using firefox on mac os tahoe 26.3" you will see that I am not alone.

I have been using Firefox for many years, and do not understand why newer Firefox versions are not fully tested before being released on the "market".

You are not alone; Google has also the same problem on macos Tahoe version 26.3. Might be good to contact Apple to solve this issue,before a domino effect!

Tonight when I went to join someone else's Zoom and he (host) allowed me to share from my screen, an issue arose that I am baffled about. The message was: Your browser is preventing access to your share screen." My Browser is Firefox. and it is up to date. How do I resolve this? Thank you very much!

Just to let you know, when I am host I can share. Would appreciate this help greatly!
