In my Settings, the browser's fallback language is set to Portuguese, without giving me any other language choice, nor leaving it blank. I assume this is the reason I keep seeing menus, notifications, etc., randomly popping up in Portuguese.

Only when I have Firefox open on my Mac mini using Golden Gate (effective today) and the previous Mac OS version, do I have McAfee warnings (& subscription requests) pop up approximately every 90 seconds. I was able to get a photograph before one disappeared tonight. I also selected the option to disable notifications from that particular sender. (I took photos of at least 3 more pop-ups to include with this question. Please see below.)
Now, I still receive these warning pop-ups with MUCH LESS frequency. I tried uninstalling Firefox and getting a fresh download from Mozilla.org. (I deleted any old download(s) prior to installing the latest version downloaded tonight.) The pop-ups began again as soon as I opened the freshly installed new version of Firefox.
I have 2 other web browsers installed on my computer and these pop-ups do not occur when I use them. Firefox has been my go-to browser for years and I would prefer to keep using it.
1. How do I disable these pop-ups once and for all? (Please note that I have attached 4 samples showing different "senders". So far, the one thing the senders have in common is they all end in ".co.in", originating in India as I am sure you know. 2. Do you have any idea what allowed these pop-ups to "infect" my Firefox - even the freshly installed version? 3. Is there a record of pop-ups saved to Firefox? AKA - what happens to the pop-ups when they disappear before I can click to disable notifications from said sender(s)? 4. Have you had many other people contact you about this issue?
Please reply as soon as possible. I would really appreciate the help.

I'm not sure what version it changed, but I am now on 157.0 and on vertical tabs the container tab color indicator used to be on the side and now it extends the length of the tab horizontally which I find extremely off-putting.
Is there a way to revert this change? Can it be modified with a theme perhaps?
Any help would be appreciated!

All of a sudden all of the videos I watch on YouTube with Firefox are defaulting to mute on my Macbook. I haven't made any changes to settings, etc. I don't have a YouTube account so I can't make any changes there anyway. I am having to unmute each video before I watch it.

I can't see very well and I have trouble reading my tab names with the new update, Firefox 157.0. Is there any way to make the font size in Firefox itself larger? I can find settings to make font bigger on webpages, but not the interface itself.
If there is no option, where do I request it? Thank you.
Update: Windows 10 ease of access settings (Settings>Ease of Access>Make Text Bigger + Make Everything Bigger) do technically do it, but boosting the text everywhere causes problems on a lot of websites. I literally just want to do the tab names. thanks

I restarted my computer, and when FF loaded all the tabs across the top where weirdly blank. I could see that there were tabs but no info. I restarted FF and then there were no tabs. Then I looked to history to restore previous session, and nothing. I've gone through all the various methods I can find about restoring sessions, and there are no sessions. See attached image. Session restore can not find a previous session. When looking for backup files, and using session scrounger https://www.jeffersonscher.com/ffu/scrounger.html I get a few tabs but nothing from my my most recent browsing. I had 28 tabs open, some in groups, and all of it is gone. I've had issues with losing tabs before but always got it back with the session scrounger, and now I can't find anything. What is going on?

Exported my Firefox bookmarks from my HP DESKTOP to a flash drive and now need to import them to a new Dell laptop. Installed Firefox on my Laptop and it had a statement that stated import bookmarks. Tried it but didn't work. Both systems are Windows 11. was not logged into Mozilla when it was performed. Plan to use Dell laptop as backup to my desktop computer.

Regarding FF v157:
- Mozilla have changed the Graphical user interface of Firefox without asking for consent or providing a clear way to revert back to the old interface, yet again. - They have made changes to the settings, so pre-installed search engines can only be toggled off and NOT removed... - There are a bunch of themes now pre-installed that can't be removed.
I think pushing a change without over way to revert, is why I a lot of people don't donate to the Mozilla foundation

My Firefox VPN is still showing as nearing my limit, despite it now being October everywhere in the world. Why hasn't it reset to 50GB? I've tried restarting Firefox and it didn't make any difference. It still shows "Getting close to your VPN limit. You have 2.2GB of 50GB left this month."

I do not need to write much. My passwords in Google, Microsoft, etc are all in Ibo language (NIGERIA) and no one can decipher it. I have been using them for 15 years, now Mozilla wants me to change it. No, It will never happen. That language is another level of protection. Bye for now.

I have been having random crashes Firefox Snap on Kubuntu 24.04 (and now 26.04). Sometimes Firefox will run stably for over an hour, sometimes it will crash in less then a minute from (re-)launch. I have tried the usual troubleshooting steps of 'run in troubleshoot mode', 'refresh', disable plugins, but the crashing seems to happen even when running in troubleshoot mode. I also have not been able to figure out any kind of event or user-action that triggers the crash; it might happen while browsing, it might happen while I am not even at my computer. At first I thought 'the Devs will handle this', but it has been some 6 months so I think my case is not very common/pressing to the community. I'd like to take a more proactive approach in solving the problem. I am still a novice at software fixing, so I might have skipped or missed a very basic step in the '10 things to try to fix Firefox'.
