hi, I love supporting this independent browser - I know its not perfect but it does a great job of doing most things well.

However, and there is a big but. I can be in the middle of an investigation that requires sharing data to a new tab - on opening the tab I'm blocked from going further as Firefox needs to do an update! This is really infuriating. No update can be SO urgent that you stop me using the browser. This is the Microsoft mentality, and its wrong. Can you please investigate NOT forcing users to update their browser during session.

In `about:config` I set `mousewheel.with_control.action: 3` quite a while ago, and today, after an update it stopped working. Current version: `146.0.1 (aarch64)`. Any idea why?

Hi, after clicking FF icon, I got nothing. Profile manager (firefox.exe -P) does not start. Last time deleting profile was helpfull, today nothing helps... Reinstall - the same... Any ideas?

The fonts are not rendering properly on few websites, example(apnetv.xyz), everything was working fine with stable release of v146.

The beta versions were having the same issue, i assumed it was related to Beta releases, so I switched back to stable one. However now firefox has released stable v147, the issue persists. Kindly fix it.

The wrong password shows when I try to log into dws.com. The password that shows is 0606945495. I have gone to passwords in the browser and the correct password is shown, yet the wrong password still is shown.

Hello! :) Instead of normal letters (in English), normal font (in English), I'm getting Symbols & Shapes where words & letters should be. Happens daily & several times daily on a variety of web sites. The Symbols & Shapes never cover an entire page, just small sections here & there. Sometimes this problem fixes itself after a few minutes (meaning the Symbols & Shapes vanish and normal letters & words [in English] appear in their place). Sometimes I have to log in & log out a few times before it goes back to being a web site with normal words & letters (in English)... Sometimes, those areas - or patches - of symbols & shapes on a web site page Never get fixed...even going as far as to make the page (and one time the whole website) unusable. The extent to which I find this whole thing very annoying is compounding. Thank you in advance for your valuable time and your consideration of a remedy to my problem. Peace! ~ Catherine

some items are large, some items are TINY. I have tried resetting my display setting scale, but the url bar, the menu where are my open tabs, the bookmarks toolbar, and some other things re TINY.

I am unable to open my profile on Firefox. I am using desktop and windows 11. I am typing this question on DuckDuckGo browser because I was unable to go in. It will not let me search, open new tabs, refuse to open new tabs and even to click on settings. I also tried to delete it in an attempt to log in again but it won't even let me delete it. The image I shared is all I see. No bookmarks, shortcuts, ways to do settings and other things. Thank you!

I'm trying to fill out a magazine subscription form that uses reCAPTCHA but the reCAPTCHA does not show in the form using Firefox but does in Chrome. I've seen similar issues and tried to solve it by clearing the catch and disabling extensions but nothing helps.

Why isn't there a simple means to remove/prevent searches for the address bar, using config doesn't work.

I've used Firefox for over twenty years, this annoyance will end that and force a move to Brave.

In about:logins, passwords on the left side have a hover effect, but the click only works if you click the inner part, clicking the outer part doesn't select the password. This gave me dementia from so many failed clicks.

Hola, firefox no funcionaba bien, busque que hacer y lei de enviar los id de informes de fallos, pero como eran muchos los elimine SIN ENVIARLOS, porque no sabia que estaba enviando y ahora no logro poder usar Firefox, lo desinstale e instale nuevamente y todo sigue igual. No se como solucionarlo, necesito ayuda por favor.

So, I configured the suggestions in the search bar so that nothing from my history/previous searches is displayed (see attached image with current settings). However, suggestions from my past searches still continue to appear. I would like only the autocomplete suggestions from my search engine to appear (I'm using Kagi). I already tried to delete my browsing history (Crtl + Shift + Delete - Everything, browsing and download history), it deleted everything but my past searches... Can somebody help me?

"Magically" started working again for unknown reasons.

Up until this morning I could enter calculations in the search bar or the address bar and get an answer without hitting "Enter". Why has this stopped working?

FF 146.0.1 LM 21.3, Bitwarden, Ublock Origin and Dark Reader extensions active.

Edit: browser.urlbar.suggest.calculator is set to TRUE.

When I go to (seemingly) any Elsevier site, the browser tab immediately closes with no error or explanation. An example is this site:

When I try to print puzzles daily from USA Today through Firefox, the crossword and/or the sudoku show up in the print box as 2 pages, when they are only 1, unnecessarily printing a blank page. If I print through Chrome instead, it only shows and prints 1 page. In order to print only one page in Firefox, I have to change the "pages" from all to current. Never used to have this problem.
