I recently changed to Firefox as my default web browser. I cannot prevent shortcuts from populating the browser when I visit sites. The sites add their shortcut no matter what.

I tried changing "settings > home" to not save shortcuts, which works. But even if I PIN those shortcuts I want to keep, they still get deleted. How do I fix this?

Default homepage is yahoo. Since the update to version 149, if I do a search from yahoo, the new tab that opens with the search result is blank most of the time. I have to click reload for the search results to show up.

Is anybody else having that problem? Seems to be yahoo search specific but not 100% sure.

I HAVE A HOME PAGE WITH ICONS. BUT WHEN I OPEN FOXFIRE NOW I GET A HOME PAGE WITH ONE ICON TO ADD MORE ICONS. HOW DO I GET FOXFIRE TO OPEN MY HOME PAGE? WHAT IS GOING ON? THE FIRST PHOTO IS WHAT IT SHOULD BE AND THE SECOND IS WHAT COMES UP WHEN I OPEN FOXFIRE.

My homepage disappeared after the last update. I wanted it back. I had all of my favorite apps that I like to go to, and then I had all of the news topics underneath, and it was all nice and clean on one page where I can click and open a link. Now I just see icons and it’s not showing me the entire page like before.

as soon as i startup firefox it has a quick flash of white before the background image comes up. it happens on new profiles/troubleshooting mode.

i have tried disabling hardware acceleration and it doesnt seem to help.

on my pc I had no problem with Firefox. Have moved into a residential care home so have new, windows 11, laptop. Can't get the Firefox front page only opens via Google. Not used to having such difficulties but maybe at 86 I am slowing down

Since the most recent update installed on Firefox, my homepage no longer loads on opening the browser. Instead, a blank page loads, and I have to hit the home button in order to get to my home page. I've checked and none of my settings have changed, so don't see what else it can be other than some kind of bug?

Best Buy Tech support took control of my computer today to get my printer to scan to the computer. After that was done, I went to my FIREFOX hompage only to see it completely changed from the way it was and I am now trying to get it back.

Attached below is a screenshot of my homepage for Firefox desktop (Windows 11). I have uBlock Origin, but it doesn't block anything on the homepage. I have two specific concerns:

• I tried inputting both gmail.com and mail.google.com addresses for the URL of my shortcut, but it always displays a generic icon instead.
• The YouTube icon isn't transparent.

I used the same layout/theme on a previous Windows 11 install and these two problems did not occur at all. What's the possible solution for this?

I will rather that when I open Firefox, it opens to a specific page such as Refdesk.com. Please guide me to where I may select this option. Thanks
