I had a problem where FF 140.0 would not update, and in trying to get FF yo update, I used a re-install tool to which I was pointed in my problem report. This caused FF to wipe out my configuration, and I lost all my windows and tabs. I have gone to

    \Appdata\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Proifiles\abnfpged.default

cleared all of the data therein, and restored that directory from a backup I made last Monday. But I cannot get FF to use that directory. "about:profiles" shows only two profiles, but the Profiles directory has five profiles:

Only the profiles beginning with "j" and "f1" are seen in the "about:profiles" screenshot I have attached. And I have attached a screenshot of my profiles.ini file. Also, in the abnfpged.default directory I restored, where is the list of all of my open windows and tabs? FF used to keep that in a sessionstore.jsonlz4 file, but that file is only written when FF closes. I tried to save a copy when I was having problems, but I stored the copy in the same directory, which FF changed during the re-install process. Here is my profiles,.ini file:

I have not worked with the ;profiles.ini file in many years, as my FF configuration has not had problems. Thanks.

Since a few days I'm unable to download or re-install Firefox on my laptop. This follows performance problems which I wanted to solve by uninstalling / reinstalling the browser. The installing process ultimately times out.

For some reason in the last 10 days or so, google maps on Realtor.com is broken in Firefox. It's impossible to drag it in the window in any direction. I can zoom in or out with the mouse wheel, but that does no good because what I want to see is now off the screen and can't be dragged back into view.

Google maps works perfectly fine in Chrome just like it always did. Either realtor.com did something in their code in the last 10 days or so, or, the latest update that firefox did broke it. I do not know which one of the two is the culprit.

Has anyone else experienced this issue using websites that use google maps in a frame or 'window' on their website?

Unable to log into SSA since the update (it seems however since you are changing this weekly or hourly it seems sometimes I do not know what the version was when I logged in last) I am at 144.0 and can log in without an issue using Chrome. How can this be fixed? From what I can tell it seems to not allow a return from server when you click on LOGIN on SSA <ssa.gov/myaccount/> I can get in with out a problem using Chrome. Please let me know what the fix is.

so...firefox veryfing my traffic recently..maybe to see if i'm human? idk but problem is when i go to a new tab it shows my ip...and i would like that not to happend...i mean what if i'm live while browsing...that is not normal..wanna verify my traffic okay..make a toggleable eye button where i can see or not see my ip so that if am browsing live it doesn't cause my ip to be public?

When I'm on websites and there is a share or actually any button or link to click on to share to Facebook, Insagram, etc... Nothing happens on the page. It just sits idle. I can go to Chrome or Edge and I'm able to share from those browsers.

I used Firefox this morning and it worked normal. This evening however it will not open as normal. It appears to want me to create a new profile. It does not have a toolbar or any of my bookmarks What do I need to do to restore

I tried checking Instagram today but it got stuck in the loading screen and i cant check my friends' DMS, when i try Microsoft edge, it works what's goin on and how can i fix that? i tried clearing cache and it didnt work
