Immediately after my last Mozilla update, the system asked me if I wanted Firefox as my search engine. I clicked yes, as I always do when prompted. I don't know if this is the cause or if there's another connection I'm missing, but since then I haven't been able to access other websites. Every time I try, an error message appears saying "Oops, the system has crashed..." or something like that. However, if I use Google or Edge, everything works fine. How can I fix this problem? Can anyone help me? Thank you very much in advance.

Moi Drodzy pozdrawiam Was Mam wielką prośbę ostatnio byłem zmuszony przywrócić windows 11 z kopii zapasowej i bardzo byłem zdziwiony gdy przy uruchamianiu Waszej przeglądarki wyskoczyło mi okno logowania niestety założyłem u Was to konto bardzo dawno posługując się u wczesnym adresem " condor5@wp.pl " na tomiast w obecnej chwili zastosowałem mój aktualny e-mail " condorhk9@gmail.com " i co się stało : otóż po zalogowaniu ku mojemu zaskoczeniu przeglądarka ukazała mi się w szarych odcieniach a co gorsza cały zasób moich cennych dla mnie zakładek figuruje tam gdzie powinien być ale jest nieaktywny.Czytałem Wasze poradniki ale problem jest chyba innej natury bo jak wspomniałem to co jest szare (stare) jest nieaktywne natomiast można korzystać z pola adresowego i przeglądarka działa.Bardzo mi zależy na tych zakładkach one tam istnieją ale przy próbie ich przywrócenia pojawia się komunikat """ Nie udało się przetworzyć pliku kopii zapasowej. In the past I have had several computers synced together to keep bookmarks the same on each computer. Now I sometimes get the bookmarks but the links on the bookmarks are all changed to other sites. Everything is scrambled. How do I get a couple of my computers all syncing to other computers.

When Firefox opens its first tab, when I enter a site a new (second) tab is opened. From that second tab, sites open in a new tab, or the same tab. But the very first tab remains empty and just takes up space.

What I'd like to see is the first site open in the first tab and then subsequent tabs open in new tabs. I don't have a home page set and don't need it. Is there someplace in settings that can I change this behavior?

My local network is 10.10.10.x and I can't log into my NAS, web server or another computer on the local network... Internet access is fine. Happens on Wi-Fi or Ethernet.

If I access the same web address using Safari or Chrome it works just fine and it used to work before the software update to the 147 build.

So what switch/setting got kicked over during the upgrade that I have to turn off?

These kind of issues really make me mad at the Firefox Dev team... and I'm a very long time user.

All of my FF extensions were once shown as icons in my FF address bar, but due to my failing vision I had to increase the text resolution and now they're gone. How do I get the extension icons back?

My bookmarks are not showing up. Firefox shows a message that some Firefox files are being used by another program, or something like that. I have refreshed Firefox numerous times, and the same thing happens each time I try to use Firefox now. This has been happening for over a month. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox multiple times.

Impossible de supprimer l'historique depuis quelques jours, que ce soit dans l'onglet historique ou dans les paramètres. Quelle solution pouvez vous nous transmettre. Merci d'avance

I'm having trouble with the ui elements on firefox, the min/max/close buttons are showing some random characters and the menu also shows an "Á" besides some options.

Here's what I tried: reinstalling, clean reinstall, delete start cache, fresh restart, troubleshoot mode, On windows: restore font configuration, sfc /scannow, dism cleanup-image restorehealth, deleting all aditional installed fonts and saving only system included fonts.

Still, the font on tabs and some menus looks strange, and the problem with buttons and menus keeps happening.

I don't really know what else to do

Firefox requested helper tool to download after an update & now it will not perform the helper tool to install and Firefox is not responsive and doesn’t start up. I’ve uninstalled it 2x and it will work for a few days then the helper tool install request pops up and the cycle starts over.

I have Firefox on two computers, both on Windows 10. One has a bug, so I need to re-install it. My Firefoxes sync, so I am afraid that if I delete the buggy Firefox and reinstall, I will loose my bookmarks. How do I avoid that? What procedure would avoid that danger?
