I tried to download something from this website https://www.maxon.net/en/article/stamp-your-footage-onto-any-3d-solid?srsltid=AfmBOoqo9m0rrsDYUvZzXpyTs1uLPotn8tBr03C5c9iLl7mydQIP3AVM and told Firefox to save it to my dropbox desktop app. Some weird warning popped up about the fire path being invalid or something like that. So now when I go back and tryto choose a different download location, it wont download at all. I definitely remember having this same exact issue months ago and don't remember the solution. please help

Normally with a Firefox update, the 'Your Firefox has been updated' page is shown once. But after update 130.0, I can't get rid of it . Of course I can open a New tab but I'd rather not see this page at all: it has annoying graphics showing tips that i dont want!

Hi, on my husband's laptop (but not mine!) when he does a Google search in Firefox, he sees the search text (e.g., "funny cat videos") in the address bar, not the URL for the Google search. He used to be able to copy the search URL to share it with people, but isn't able to do that anymore (except from the History section, which is a bit of a pain.)

I searched the Internet for solutions and someone suggested "Show search terms instead of URL on default search engine results page" in Settings, but I can't find that setting anywhere! Any pointers about either finding that setting or another way to get back to what he had before?

The attached image shows what he WANTS to see, instead of the search text. This works fine for me!

A few days ago, I updated from Firefox Desktop Version 115.14.0 EXT to Firefox Desktop Version 115.15.0 EXT. I believe the latest update has a BUG that is causing problems with my Security software. I just spent more than two hours with the Security software's Tech Support Team. They were not able to find any errors on their side. Then it occurred to me that the Security software issues began AFTER I installed the latest Firefox Desktop Version 115.15.0 EXT. How can I re-Install Firefox Desktop Version 115.14.0 EXT?

Recently I found I can't view video clips on MSN, white rotating circle around Play button. U tube videos are no problem. I can view video clips on Safari, but Firefox is my preference. I have an Imac running Sonoma 14.6.1

For the past 2 weeks Firefox has been repeatedly crashing soon after going on to certain sites or trying to apply my 2FA authenticator add-on.

Suddenly there's a screen shudder and a new window opens, inviting me to submit a crash report. See attached image.

I do not believe that this is down to Ubuntu 24.04 upgrade done at end of August.

But it's enough for me to largely go over to Chromium and Firefox Dev Ed.

If Mozilla don't act on this crashing I can see its market being lost fairly fast.

I am unable to see anything on X / twitter. Windows 11. This is a continual problem with my laptop and my desktop (Windows 10). I have Firefox set on Standard tracking, and have added x.com and twitter.com as exceptions. Please fix this so that I can access my x.com account.

I think Firefox used to be the best browser on the planet. However lately: Firefox has been randomly shutting down. Usually while I'm typing a comment or a reply to some comment.

Just tonight, I tried to buy a box of Bibles from the Gideons International, and when I clicked the Place Order button, nothing happened. I started the crappy Chrome browser, went to the Gideon website and created an order. When I clicked Place Order, it 'thought' for a few seconds and then said "Order Complete".

Quite often, when I click on a link, I receive a message telling me Firefox cannot connect to that site. Again, if I use Chrome, or even Brave, the link goes right through.

Months ago, I never had these problems. Are you people in the business of screwing up the best browser ever invented? Put Firefox back like it was when it worked.

Hello, I use NextDNS for DNS over HTTPS in Firefox and I have set it up accordingly. Every so often Firefox will randomly revert back to using Quad9 instead of NextDNS without any intervention from me and I then have to go back in and set up NextDNS again which is quite frustrating, does anyone know why this might be happening?

ages ago FF posted an update on my desk top. I've installed it dozens of times and dismissed it many times that much but it is still stuck on my desktop. How do O cleaned this up?

SINCE FIREFOX IS MY BROWSER, HOW DO I PREVENT CERTAIN GAMES FROM TAKING CONTROL OF MY MOUSE ? I HATE IT WHEN THEY SLOW MY MOUSE DOWN OR WON'T LET ME MOVE,SOMETIMES IT CAUSES ME TO LOSE THE GAMES, VERY FRUSTRATING

For some reason, about a week ago, Firefox started lagging BADLY when saving any file. It will take like 20 seconds to load the "save as" popup and then, once saved and it closes, takes another 5 seconds to regain control and not make the error sound when I click.

Firefox loads quickly on every other aspect. And I have a beast of a laptop. It has an Intel Core i9 13th Gen 13900HX, 64GB of DDR5/6 RAM and a Nvidia RTX 4090 Laptop graphics chip. It also has Windows 11 Home. So it SHOULDN'T be this laggy. And I refreshed Firefox multiple times and even reinstalled it. NOTHING!

And, while I'm personally not complaining about the icons in the bar looking like they're from Windows 7 or something, I wonder if it's connected? Regardless, I NEED this fixed as it's damn near unusable for me. I'm in college for video game development, so things like this are the last thing I want to deal with...
