While I was on the Amazon site and in the account area after completing an order, a popup (at the top where one usually gets FireFox notifications about blocked popups and etc.) notified me that a plugin was needed to view all information on the page. Thinking it was legitimate, I allowed whatever was needed to happen. Now I am not so sure. I have run scans for by three different programs to detect malware and none shows up. I have checked various Firefox folders and the PC to find a file that would match the modification time and have found none. The question really is would Firefox really notify me that a plugin was needed in the manner described. Should I be worried about a malicious attempt to steal data?
