Using macOS 10.13.6 with Thunderbird 60.3.3

I want to re-organise the order of the accounts in the side bar. I have tried "Manually sort folders" but it does not work. All I get is a blank panel for the accounts in the add on.

This should be a pretty basic function in Thunderbird so that one can set a logical priority of accounts. I can not find the file which contains the account information to manually edit it. Does anyone know which file it is?

Do you have v. 1.2.0 of Manually Sort Folders? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/installing-addon-thunderbird

Yes I have installed v. 1.2.0 of Manually Sort Folders.

As you can see from the image attached the panel that normally holds the list of mail accounts is empty.

The add-on works here and for most Windows users, but there could be an issue with OS X that I'm unaware of. Perhaps you could try v. 1.2.0pre2 or 1.2.0pre3 and see if it makes any difference:
