CAN'T SET HOME PAGE
this problem with setting my home page I have tried all the obvious options my Computer tech guy also tried to resolve this but still can't so can anyone resolve this problem i can't even set a blank page in options even when i click on set default ??.

I have resolved this at last my Iobit Malaware software was causing the problem so when i uninstalled it i could set my home page thanks

What is the problem? What are you using as your homepage? What is showing up? Are there any other problems?

That did not work I tried it and my home page was as it was

When you have a problem, you should describe it in detail.
Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac=<Command>)<Shift> A)
In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Remove Bing Anything. Now do the same in the computers Programs Folder.
Windows: Start > Control Panel > Uninstall Programs. Mac: Open the "Applications" folder. Linux: Check your user manual.
If there is still a problem,
You may have ad / mal-ware. Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.

I don't have bing in my extensions add on i Have tried everything as recommended and STILL i get BING as my HOME page

I installed the Mozilla Search Reset it uninstalled all my add ons i then closed Firefox and up popped up Bing as my Home Page with all my add ons enabled !

Note: Some software, like Advanced SystemCare with Surfing Protection, can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes. If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.
