After the latest firefox upgrade speedtest.net will not run: why?
After I found this problem I then updated Java and Adobe Flash for both IE and Firefox but speedtest will not run on either browser.

Please make sure that all of your plugins and add ons are up to date.
- Go to about:addons
- Click on the gear icon and check to make sure that there are not updates.
- Then visit https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/
Since its both browsers, you may want to restart each of them and check any settings in the Java Console.
Your suggestion did help me to get the latest update for the flash plugin but SpeedTest still will not run in either IE or Firefox. any other ideas? Thanks for your help!
The Shockwave Flash plugin doesn't show as installed/enabled in the System Details list, so make sure that the plugin is installed and enabled on the about:addons page.

I have now isolated the problem to FireFox only. In IE I found that ActiveX Filtering was checked in the Tools drop down menu. After I unchecked ActiveX Filtering Speed Test would load and run properly. Still have to work on the FireFox problem.
Try to reinstall flash to version, it looks like that site has a bunch of flash components in the page. (sorry for the delay, was on vacation last week)
