Since my computer was scanned about a week ago I have been unable to operate with Mozilla Firefox. My links to google and my website are arriving through Internet Explorer, and I don't want to change to them as a favourite search engine. Previously for about 2 weeks I was surprised to find my Home Page was showing as Bing, which was very confusing. Google Chrome is malfunctioning, and shows a blank page when I get to the google apps icon for Search and I eventually reach my website.

Worse now, None of my Affiliated company banner links are showing on my Home page, neither are the Amazon product widgets which have taken many hours to build.

I just tried to gain access to google from the little house icon and it took me directly to a firm called Firefox fireplaces and this is a concern.

I fear that neither Mozilla or Google Chrome are functioning properly, and I seem to have lost History, where I was hoping to find back up of my Website Home Page to reinstate my banners and widgets. Internet Explorer shows only one week of History/

Please follow one of the guides:

The provide instructions for how to remove in Firefox and Chrome, and from your computer in general. Note that the antimalware utilities are free, and if you are prompted to pay, double check you downloaded the correct version. You don't need to use the trial versions either (except for HitmanPro) - just use the free version when asked.

Edit: I should also mention that it is worth scanning with more than one anti-malware application since they use different methods of finding malicious files. You will likely only experience a problem if you run more than "real-time protection" application at the same time, but the free versions of MalwareBytes and AdwCleaner do not include real time protection so they should be compatible with your existing software.
