Hello, I have tried to send several email replies using thunder bird but they fail because the smtp server times out. Or cannot be reached. I am a new Starlink subscriber and am wondering if that could have anything to do with the issues. The software is on my dell computer running windows 10. Any help or suggestion is appreciated. It's been months since I have been able to access my Thunderbird email. I have forgotten my password and tried all the self-help instructions, but nothing worked. Please help me.

Hallo, ich habe seit 2 Wochen Probleme mit der Authentifizierung meines Mailaccounds von AOL. Alles was ich Versuche funktioniert nicht. Ich bekomme jedesmal im eingeblendeten AOL Autentifizierungs Fenster die Meldung "etwas ist schiefgelaufen. Ich habe in meinem AOL Account schon mehrerer Male ein App Passwort für Thunderbird erstellt. Habe dieses App Passwort Thunderbird genannt. Konto ist ein SMTP IMAP Konto, die Ports stimmen auch. Ich habe mein AOL Mailkonto mittlerweile in Thunderbird komplett gelöscht und ebenfalls die AOL Passwörter gelöscht. Die Authentifizierungsmethode für outh2 ist angewählt und Cookies sind eingeschaltet.

Ich kann machen was ich will. Die Autentifizierung funktioniert nicht.

Woran kann das noch liegen. Ich bin mittlerweile ratlos.

Hello! I have a damaged 4,7 GB Sent folder (file). Unfortunately, the antivirus or else software did something, so the folder in Thunderbird is shown but empty. I did try to rebuild and fix in Thunderbird but this did not work. How can I rescue my mails? My data that I wrote up, then I changed my data for robertippolito6@gmail.com very carefully, but the error this time had to be your error or an blend of data because many of your team and mine are just mine.

I give up. I cancel my contract. I've had to take my laptop for many trips to help with my older brother and who suddenly died. I was spanning around for quite some time to work.

mac calendar keeps wanting me to use a password for Safari, which I do not use, which then passes me on to Chrome. Plus calendar is not syncing with phone anymore. Help

Is there anyway of completely installing Thunberbird on a different drive and not have any stuff including symlinks in the users home directory?

Installing Thunderbird on a different drive/location is documented and straight forward but it insists on putting stuff in the users home directory C:\Users\<user>\AppData\ .

The problem can be fixed by using copying everything Thunderbird related in the C:\Users\<user>\AppData\ to the other drive and use symlinks from C:\Users\<user>\AppData\ directory to its new location. Thunderbird seems to be ok with symlinks.
