Can't get firefox mobile to snyc with firefox for windows. Hit sync on both devices multiple times. Also signed out abd back in on both devices to force a resync also syncable items on Android are greyed out please help.

Issue description

Firefox keep self logging me out from the synchronization. This requires urgent fixing.

Expected result after fixing

Firefox should never (unconditionally) self logout the user from any devices and services (with includes synchronization

Proposed enchancement

Firefox should allow to be simously logged into services (like sync) from multiple authorized devices in same time, instead beeing selective

Closing remote tab on smartphone closes immediately this tab on desktop. But opposite way stopped to work since some update: Remote tab closed on desktop still appear on smartphone. Not any action, notification on smartphone as it used to be. Fresh install Firefox for Android, updated Firefox on PC (Windows11).

I just went to look up a recipe in my Recipes collection. There are no collections on my Home page. I checked Moz support and verified they should be there. This is a new phone and the first time I tried looking for a recipe. I tried to test-save a page to a collection. The dialogue box came up with "Collection 1" in it. Clearly my collections are gone from this install. I just checked my old phone and they're there. It's the same account because the email address is the same and my profile pic is the same. How do I force the collections to re-appear on my home page? Samsung Galaxy, Firefox 155 First image is now Second image is old phone. Btw, I've been Mozilla since the late '90s! Never had an issue like this before.

С недавних пор, перестала работать синхронизация на Android 15. При попытке входа в аккаунт, с QR-code или по e-mail висит пустое окно. При переустановке Mozilla ничего не изменилось. Вход в аккаунт не выполнен.

When I try to pair my Firefox app on smartphone to my laptop with firefox.com/pair, I follow the steps and when entering the authentication code and going back to the app, I get a generic error saying the pairing failed.

Account synchronisation has stopped working. If I open the browser on my mobile device without using a VPN, the browser says I’m not logged in. However, if I open the browser via a VPN, everything loads correctly. Could this be because I live in Russia? I’m using the latest version of Firefox from Google Play on my device.

I installed Firefox and Firefox Beta on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra tablet. It will not let me log into my Firefox account. When I try scanning the QR Code from Firefox on my Windows Device, it scans the QR Code, but nothing happens. If I click log in with "email" nothing happens. I am signed in on my Windows Computer no problem, but Android will not let me on my Tablet, but let me log in on my Samsung Z Fold 7 Android phone. My Tablet is running Android 16 with Samsung UI 8.5, everything is up to date.

Hello, I have an issue with the history not being synced between my Android smartphone and my Windows PC/s.

History synchronizes just fine between my PCs (Win 10/11). Other sync functions between my phone and PC work just fine - checking the open tabs on another device, sending a tab to another device.

I am currently using 2 "sets" of Firefoxes on my devices with 2 different accounts, and the issue is present on both:

Set 1: Firefox - PC1 (Win10), PC2 (Win11), Phone (Motorola Edge 40 NEO) Set 2: Firefox Nightly - PC (Win11), Phone (Motorola Edge 40 NEO)

I already updated Firefox everywhere, logged out and in, cleared the cache & storage, restarted my phone etc.

I have both my PC and my phone signed into the same account and they are both synced. When using the option to send tab to my phone from my PC nothing appears on my phone but there's a pop-up on my PC saying it sent the tab or it was it's a check mark or something that suggests that it knows I wanted to send a tab. And then usually when I am trying to go to bed there is a tab that was playing on my PC so I go to bed and I open up my phone, I select the tab in the sync section and I sync the devices and then I attempt to close the tab. About half the time, honestly probably more the tab will not close and stays active on my PC and it is usually a twitch tab so then when I'm trying to sleep I just hear sound coming from my PC, the tab is gone from my phone so I can't even attempt to hit the x on it again so I end up having to get up and exit on my computer. I think also I've tried to send a tab from my phone to my PC, I could have sworn that was a thing and I don't remember that working either.

Sync does not transfer settings; preferences, extensions, etc. on mobile and there does not seem to be a way to do so at all. Terrible user experience setting up a new phone with Firefox.

I had a phone set up for synchronization, and the tabs were synced. Now, that phone has disappeared from my main phone—the one that listed all the devices—and all the tabs are gone. What should I do?

How can I get my tabs back? 😭

Firefox desktop and Fennec Android are syncing everything perfectly, including tabs from Fennec in Firefeox, except for when I try to view tabs from Firefox in Fennec I get the message: "You don't have any tabs open in Fennec on your other devices".

I have tried to figure out what's causing this and have searched for answers but I can't figure it out. Could anyone suggest what the problem might be please. Appologoes if this is something obvious I've just missed.

I have Firefox on two Windows PCs and a Pixel 8 Pro. If I make a change to my bookmarks on one PC, that change is quickly reflected on the other PC. This does not happen on my Android phone, which is signed in to the same account. I have tried logging out and in on the phone, and eventually deleted all data (not just cache) from Firefox on the phone, then uninstalled the app. I then re-installed Firefox on the phone, signed in to my Mozilla account, and set up my sync requirement including bookmarks. Firefox on the phone then installs a set of bookmarks which is several months out of date. I have repeated this process (delete data, uninstall / reinstall) several times, and signed in both with my email and by scanning a QR code on the PC. The same old set of bookmarks is synced to the phone every time. The old bookmarks which are synced to the phone are not synced to the PCs - those two devices are up to date and syncing correctly. It's almost as if there are two sets of bookmarks on the Mozilla server, one for the phone and one for the Windows PCs. I don't know where to go from here, can anyone help?
