Although Firefox for Android has support for PWA websites in general,I see that it doesn't detect all pwa websites and creates a simple shortcut instead! For example go to mytuner-radio.com and try to install it as a Pwa, it just creates a shortcut!

If you try this on other browsers like Vivaldi for Android, it installs it as an app, without the need to open the whole browser alongside all the tabs,every time you tap on its icon !

Please fix this and make all sites that support pwa detectable !

If I'm on a website and let's say I'm reading an article and I'm midway, if I switch to another app momentarily for a few seconds (eg go to a messenger app to send a quick message) most of the time when I get back to Firefox it seems to reload the app and refreshes the page. This makes me lose my scroll position and progress. This doesn't happen on other browsers like Vivaldi,it feels like aggressive memory management. Please fix this if possible because I don't think it's my phone's issue , I have a Xiaomi 14 Ultra with 16gb of ram and Android 16 (latest hyper os 3.0.3)!

I'm signed in to Firefox on mobile because I want to access my desktop bookmarks, history etc on mobile. But whenever I bookmark a page on mobile it automatically saves to whatever folder I last used on desktop. But I don't want them saved to my desktop bookmarks at all. I don't know how to move them to mobile only and how to stop them from saving into my desktop folders.

The old menu is more user friendly and everything shows up. Unlike the new menu where you have to search for stuff. Please incorporate an option to choose between menus.

I want it back on top not like it is in the screenshot, how do I get it back the way it was. why do you keep changing things not everybody wants to change and then you just change it for everyone without even giving the option to not change it it's ridiculous. If I can't move it back I'll be switching browsers.

First of all, I hope this is the correct place for this feedback. The release announcement page seems to link here, but I'm not totally sure. If not, could you direct me to the correct location?

After I overcame the initial "hey, I didn't want that changed, put it back" phase, I have to say I really like the new design. Especially the overhang menu (the the vertical dots) is much better.

However, there are a few things, that could be improved, I believe.

1. Make the tabs list respect the URL bar top/bottom setting. That would be great for people like me, who regularly close all taps and usually have only 2-3.

1. The same goes for the tabs within the tabs list (private / synced buttons).

1. The buttons at the bottom of the tabs list (new tab and the vertical dots) feel visually unbalanced.

PS: please also note that I'm quite confused on what version I'm on now. This page, the browser and the Playstore all say 147, but I have the changes mentioned in the 148 release notes. Is this one of the remote improvements mentioned by the release notes?

Hello. It could be cool to be able to personalize the tool on Android, just like the desktop version. Is that in that pipe? Is there a proper way to make suggestion? Sincerely, Maxence.

When using the search assist, which I do a lot, and then use the "more" button as it's loading more and I am reading through a window pops up and auto scrolls down to the new text box that asks for further questions. I do not see the point in this at all and find it very tedious, is there anyway to stop this?

Youtube's mobile site isn't loading since the new Firefox update. It gets to the attached screen then doesn't go any farther and I can't click on anything. I tried disabling my extensions and this didn't fix the problem. The desktop site loads but is not very mobile friendly.

Android - No YouTube comments. Tried clearing cache Even without signing in with Google account still no comments Tried deleting Firefox and installed it again fresh, no extensions, no change in settings. Still no comments Also the comments appear when watching shorts, only normal videos are affected

While testing some fan-made game community websites, I noticed that Firefox handles them a bit differently compared to Chrome or Edge. For example, I checked https://nullsbrawl.tech/ (not an official site, just a community project) and saw that it loads more slowly and sometimes behaves differently in Firefox.

This made me curious:

Does Firefox have different handling for script-heavy or unofficial community websites?

What tools in Firefox Developer Tools would you recommend for debugging performance issues?

Are there guidelines for developers to make such sites more compatible with Firefox?

I’d love to understand more about how Firefox manages these situations.

Today is February 24th 2026. Sometime today Firefox (Android) just updated itself. Now there's stuff on top, there's stuff on the bottom, (home page, tabs) and I don't care for it very much. How do I go back to the previous version?

Hello, I changed the app icon and now I have two 2 Firefox icons (default + retro 2024) and there's no way to remove either except by uninstall, I tried other icons and the same issue persists... As far as I know when an app has the option it's the original app icon that changes instead of creating another one so, is this intended or a bug? I'm on A11 if that helps.

the stuff firefox on android did to the menu messes me up real bad, why do i have to add a button that i will never use and will always misclick because my hands dont work right? why on earth did you mess with everyones muscle memory, its genuinely making me break down and idk how to change it back without losing all my tabs, please help

1. The tabs list places the tabs extremely high up. 2. When using a single toolbar, please add an option to have no "shortcut" in the toolbar. Seeing what site I'm on becomes harder and harder every update, with random new things being added or the padding of existing items being expanded. 3. When using a single toolbar, opening the triple dot menu means I need to stretch my hand all the way to the top of the screen to open it, then all the way to the bottom of the screen to interact with the menu that it opens. This is absurd.

Every time I pinch to zoom on a website the page always jumps I've tried all the different settings that people have recommended but nothing seems to solve this even went into the about config settings and tweaked a few things too but nothing has helped

I'm missing the pop-up control on the android version, it simply not there? Problem is, in DK wee have a id approval function called mitId (my ID) I'll typically pop up as result of a payment of larger amounts, therefore the block exception is mandatory for that site. But the control is missing in android  ! I just got a payment rejected due to the bank couldn't verify my identity, I had to reenter Amazon in Chrome to finish the payment, rather silly ! Are there any way to bypass the missing?
