Hello, I simply need to add bookmarks, but when I select Add on the phone Firefox app, nothing happens?

Phone: iPhone 11 iOS 18.5 Firefox app: Firefox 141.2 (59350)

Here's what I'm doing: Phone -> Firefox app -> 3 horizontal dots (bottom right) -> Add (top right.

I then check for the added bookmark, but find no new bookmark in: Phone -> Firefox app -> 3 horizontal dots (bottom right) -> Bookmarks (top left) -> Star tab is selected by default -> Desktop Bookmarks -> Unsorted Bookmarks -> This folder is empty Bookmarks Toolbar -> my bookmarks which are synced with the desktop Bookmarks Menu -> Bookmarks -> This folder is empty

After some troubleshooting simply adding a bookmarks for a webpage, the fault appears to be with the Firefox browser. I thought I was doing something wrong, however after further research, the final variable appears to be Firefox.

I’d like to request a layout change in the Firefox app for iPhone regarding how bookmarks and folders are displayed.

Right now, each level of nested folders is indented further to the right. When you have multiple folders within folders (which I do), the indentation pushes the folder names so far to the right that they become hard or even impossible to read. This makes navigating deeply nested bookmark structures frustrating and inefficient.

A simple fix would be to left-align all folder and bookmark titles or at least reduce the amount of indentation for each nested level. This would make it much easier to view and access folders, especially for users who organise bookmarks in detailed hierarchies.

I’ll attach a screenshot to show exactly what I mean.

Third Contact. A few questions in hoping to resolve this on-going issue of Firefox 144.0 crashing on my iPhone.: What is GitHub … never heard of it? Why should I trust it. How is my privacy secured? Why do I have to go to GitHub for a Firefox issue? What is Xcode? How do I get it? How do I connect to it? After many years with Firefox why is this happening? Can I back grade to the previous Firefox? As a long time Firefox user and Mozilla donor a worse case option is for us to scrub FireFox from all of our systems pending Firefox issuing a corrective up grade.

Please allow the Mozilla iOS Firefox to be a light (white background/black type) on iPhones. It is hard to read white type on a black background. The iPhone Settings for page display and brightness allow the user to set pages as light or dark. But the new Firefox changes prevent the Private Tab from being viewed as light. This almost a browser game changer for me.

That little blue cloud, with a little arrow, goes in circles, and then returns to the little blue cloud with the little arrow. I cannot figure out, for the life of me, why I’m having this issue.

I upgraded from Pro Max 15. It was warm and cozy there.

Then… BOOM! Kicked me to the curb! My jaw is TIGHT!

To note, despite being an Apple user with Safari on board I am a very long time user of the Firefox browser on my Apple devices. I have continued to support and donate to Mozilla in a way of saying thanks for the opportunity to use Firefox over the years.

As noted earlier I have the most up-to-date versions of the Mac OS, iOS and Firefox on all of my devices including many MacBook Pros, and iPhones.

I reiterate my previous note that my wife is not experiencing this issue, and the only difference in our two iPhones is that I am running Firefox 144.0 and she is currently running Firefox 143.2. I have warned her not to up-date until this issue is resolved.

Having said that, I have gone through the suggested fixes via both Files App & XCode, and when I manage to get any where inspire of the crashing in seconds of opening the Firefox app. I actually got too the Settings section of the app but, once again, it crashed before I could go any farther.

So I am back to you to remedy this situation. I will switch to Safari in the interim pending a successful resolution. Please advise if you have further steps to try. I would expect an app update in the Apple Apps store that would solve what appears to be an engineering issue.

When I use Firefox to go to a url I have about 5 second max then it crashes. I’m running Firefox 144 on iOS 26.0.1. My wife is running Firefox 143.2 on iOS 26.0.1 and does not have this issue. Thanks. Mike

Do to the fact that the password situation is totality out of control, I would like to know if there is a better way of posting the password list. I mean that I have about 300 passwords and every time I open a web site and I need to go into the password list, "in case it doesn't show up automatically" , I can't understand some of the postings because it doesn't say the site, it says the url and it doesn't have the title of the site it just has the url. Then at the same time it has several url's with different passwords because I have several sites under the same url. Example, Google, I have several sites under Google and the password list just has the url's and not the title of the site. So it get very confusing. Is there a way to have to title of the site first and then the url? Then when I want to know which Google account that I want, I can go right to it. Now I am 76yrs. old and know only the basics of computers and would like to use Firefox on the phone, but I am afraid to because I don't know computers that good, but mainly I have trouble with passwords. Just finding the place where I can ask a question has taken me about 30 minutes and I had to sign in 5 different times. I am trying to keep a group of older people such as myself up with their computer and phone. One of the problems is that everything that is written on computers and phones are written for the young. They were born into computers, we weren't. If there is a way to post the passwords by what the site is and then the url, it sure would make things easier. Thank you for your time.

Hi there poor performance lately. I’m having to constantly pause my vpn of jump onto safari where I don’t have to pause my vpn. The browsers are freezing. Which is really annoying when I’ve completed a big form. I have to redo it all over again. Are there any issues ? I’m in Halesowen England
