I was able to get rid of remembered user id data in Chrome (delete site data) with no problems, but have tried all I can find in Firefox with no luck. Please tell me how to do it. There is no saved login data in Firefox and deleting site data does not help. Thanks, John.

Yesterday, the pdf document had a time/date stamp for the time and date of printing. Today it is gone. How do I make the printed copy show time/date, website, etc that I am printing the pdf from?

Whenever I go to a Google page (tested on Google.com Docs, Sheets, Forms) the page crashes. The issue started sometime around this afternoon.

No crash report, no trace, no anything. I click "Save [insert] as...", and Firefox hangs and stops responding. Windows automatically shuts it off when clicking. Launching Firefox again sometimes says there was a problem reloading the session, but that's not guaranteed.

Every once in awhile i get a second Firefox icon pinned to my taskbar and also a second listing for firefox in my programs list. If i try and delete the extra version there is only one listed in the control panel. Has anyone else seen this? I am running Windows 10 Pro.

Hello, I've started to experience an error message for a few weeks now.

When I interact with this website : chat.openai.com I get an error for 'This page is slowing down Firefox. To speed up your browser, stop this page.'

The website is not responding, and doesn't let me to further interact with it.

In process manager the CPU usage is 100%, while the website is not responding.

The odd thing is that when I check the CPU usage in Task Manager, remains steady at 15% .. 16% .. 17% but never 19% (while using this specific website of course).

I tried through incognito, and it does the same.

If someone of you friends, can suggest something different. Please let me know.

Hello, I recently switched from the Edge browser to Mozilla and encountered a problem. The sound quality in the Mozilla browser is worse than in Edge, regardless of the site, whether it’s watching a movie, a video on YouTube, or just listening to music. I tried a completely new profile, without my settings, without extensions, and everything else, the problem did not disappear. It feels like the browser’s audio codec just compresses the sound quality. After updating to 121.0.1 some sites, primarily Flickr, are terribly slow in comparison with other browsers (Chrome, Edge). The issues are related to opening pages with images or group or user streams - simply it takes way too much time making browsing almost useless. I don't know what may be the problem, but I logged out from other devices and cleared history and cache several times and nothing helped. Any ideas or similar issues?

Mozilla will not work - it looks like it's trying to load a page but nothing happens. Then the crash reporter kicks in - but it never actually sends the crash report. (I'll copy it here) I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it - it doesn't help. Tried disabling the antivirus and firewall (which had never been a problem before) but that doesn't help either. So if you can, please help :)

I hope you're all doing well. I'm reaching out because I've encountered a bit of a head-scratcher and was wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar.

I recently got myself an Intel Evo laptop, and while Chrome seems to be working seamlessly, I'm facing compatibility issues with Firefox. It's a bit puzzling, and I'm hoping to get some guidance from this knowledgeable community.

Here are the details of the issue:

Problem: I'm experiencing compatibility issues between Firefox and my Intel Evo laptop. The browser doesn't seem to be performing as smoothly as expected. Oddly, Chrome is working perfectly fine.

Symptoms:

Laggy performance when navigating websites. Occasional freezes and delays. General sluggishness compared to Chrome. What I've Tried: I've already tried a few troubleshooting steps:

Many, many months ago I did mundane search and opened a webpage in a new tab, as per normal. Nothing particularly stood out about this search and when I was done, I closed the tab. I didn't do anything different. I didn't save a bookmark or change any settings. I just looked at the webpage and then closed it when I was done. (It was a web article on some random tech site, if that matters)

Anyway, now whenever I open up my Firefox browser there seems to be a random chance that this previously closed tab will open on loading. And when I say random chance, I'd say about 1 in 5 chance. It doesn't always happen.

Just to be clear: I do have the browser set to restore my previous sessions. This is a setting I want to have on. However, this tab was not part of my previous session as I specifically closed it - and continue to close it every time it opens itself. Also, my Homepage is set to default and nothing else.

Not only that, but there are two very peculiar details about this case that make it very, very strange: 1. When I originally opened (and closed) this tab, I was using normal Firefox. I have since switched to Firefox Nightly. All of my other tabs that I like to keep open had to be searched and loaded up manually, one by one, after I did the switch. This one tab, however, is just showing up on its own. 2. Opening Firefox on a separate devices (second desktop PC, laptop, android phone) will occasionally load up this tab.

I do have my browsers set to sync, which is what I'm assuming is why it's following me around. But I don't understand why nor how to stop this specific page from loading after I keep closing it time and time again. Plus, why aren't any of my old tabs from my old Firefox browser following this same behavior after moving to Nightly? - I've closed hundreds, if not thousands of tabs. Why is this one following me around?

I can't turn off lazy loading. I set the following about:config settings to "false":

Nothing changes. When I start Firefox, it simply won't load all tabs. How do I fix this?

There are 223 instances of kmozillahelper running on my system. I have two firefox instances running, two tabs in each, but that doesn't matter. One firefox and one tab - 223 kmozillahelpers. That's 2 GB of memory and much worse, I can't launch anything else. As an example, trying to start yast.

I can't even open another firefox instance. This is a very recent problem.

Can anyone help me out and others on this matter? several months ago appears FB decided to screw everyone over by arbitrarily forcing auto refresh. If you're reading something long and or have to step away for a moment it is gone.

Some have posted for chrome they have an extension that stopped it. The only one on FF does not work. I tried it, does nothing at all. Time for FF to fix this issues allowing you to turn it on or off at my will.

Hello! Like many before me, the tabs crash every time I got to YouTube. The only message I get is

"Gah. Your tab just crashed. We can help! Choose Restore This Tab to reload the page." This option does NOTHING to solve the issue.

Not sure why, but I've never had this issue before until about a week ago. I don't want to use another browser. I prefer Firefox.

I am currently using Firefox 121.0.

Any information/assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I have Firefox set to open on the default home page with 2 rows of shortcuts. After an update yesterday, all my shortcuts disappeared on my work computer. They are still there on my laptop however. I tried to sync, no go. I have tried to re-add the shortcuts manually and it won't save it. It is important that I fix this as I have several tabs open and signed it to different websites that I work with and this saved me a lot of time.

Hey all, videos stopped working a few weeks ago and I'm not sure why. It seems to be an issue across all websites, from Youtube to Twitter to Tiktok and beyond. The videos will begin to load, but almost immediately will freeze up and won't load/play any further. Oh and I've also noticed that Soundcloud (via NTS.live) isn't working for me either.

What could be causing this issue?
