Firefox will not allow me to access my internet banking account. The recent update caused me many problems. Is there a seurity setting in Firefox that I should take a look at or correct? Thank you!

I am getting crashes with the latest Win7 ESR release (115.21.0esr).

Looking at the crash report indicates EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_READ. Crash Address is 0xfffffffffffffffb

I was running ESR fine on my old Win7 system, but then I think I recently updated to this release and started seeing these constant crashes.

The crashes usually happen when I try to load a new page or click on a link that loads a new page, but sometimes it also crashes when I close a tab. Certain URLs almost always seem to causes the browser to crash (for instance https://www.gog.com/redeem, although I did get it to work once), but other sites seem to work fine and never crash.

I started a new profile with no add-ons, etc. and still same crashes (see below report ID for this crash).

I haven't seen any other problems on my system other than Firefox crashing, so don't thing it is a problem other than something internal to this version of Firefox, but I could be wrong about that...

CONTEXT Many societies, including most of the Spanish and Portuguese speaking world (~730 million people), use two part surnames. This means the full name in most official documents, including passports, take the format:

Name: <name> Surname: <first surname from father> <first surname from mother>

Here is an example of the famous (deceased) Spanish poet:

Name: Federico Surname: García Lorca

Note the two part surname. There is no hyphen nor should there be one. He has TWO surnames.

PROBLEM A recent update in Firefox introduced a single field for name under Settings > Privacy & Security > Saved Addresses which is used by Autofill to fill forms.

Our poet would enter "Federico García Lorca" under name. If he were then to purchase a plane ticket and rely on Firefox Autofill to fill in the details, Autofill -- in a very narrow anglophone view -- will interpret "García" as a middle name and suppress it.

As a result, the plane ticket will be issued to "Federico Lorca" who is not even the same person, and who may not even exist. Moreover, he may be denied boarding the plane or refused entry into the USA because the name on the ticket does not match any of his official documentation.

I have had to disable Autofill for this reason.

SOLUTION A proposed solution is to do like Edge does: Have separate Name and Surname fields the user can specify.

I changed my email on my Firefox account a while back. I've been able to sign in on other devices but on a new Windows Machine, I'm unable to sign in.

I try to use the primary email, and it prompts me to make a new account.

My old email brings up an account to sign into but then it asks me to use the primary email. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I am using Firefox browser on Windows 11, Dell machine with Cirruslogic sound driver There is sound intrruptions when a new music source has started while a music already playing on another tab. While a radio or youtube music stream playing on a tab (in background) and if other tab starts a new sound like youtube or video an any page when started the music background got interrupted (like a small pause operation). If I do the same with chrome or opera, the music goes on without promblem seamlesly. Also if a music stream continues, opening a new music stream on chrome do es not effects. So, the only proble ise with opening sound from different tabs interrups each other on only Firefox browser PS:I am using the Treestyle tab extension. I do not know there is a relation or not Regards Murat

Firefox constantly freezes up as soon as I right click on menus. In the expand/droppdown menu square box that pops up when I right click, is first just white (to text) then goes black and freeze. I understand the Win7 gets no support but does anyone know about this issue and can I go back to a version that does not do that? Preferably a version that does not hound me to update every 10 sec :)

I have my business emails set up on FireFox. Whenever my Windows updates during the night causing my PC to restart I lose all of my connectivity settings on FireFox. Whenever I attempt to login to sites I have already established connections for, the site sees me as having a new PC and I have to start all over with the inputting of login credentials. What in my settings can be modified to stop this from happening.

Hi. The bookmarks in my bookmarks toolbar are 3 different sizes; how can I adjust their size to make them all smaller so I can see more of the ones I use most please?

Update - please ignore, I was just being a bit dumb; have shortened the bookmark names - ta-dah!!

When I try to sign in with my email address and click "continue". I receive error message "Something went wrong please try again.". I don't have this issue on any other browser.

Reading the crash dumps when our systems crash, keeps showing this same result. Firefox's "web content" is crashing our systems.

Bonjour Suite à l'installation de la dernière mise à jour j’ai perdu mon organisation et des favoris de Mozilla. J'ai arrêté mon pc dimanche dernier dernier et quand je l'ai rallumé vendredi et lancé Mozilla j'avais tout perdu. Comment récupérer mes données tout en sachant que je n'ai pas de sauvegarde. Espère que je vais pouvoir récupérer les infos car à priori les données dans le navigateur datent de plus d'un an Merci bien de votre aide
