The Firefox Color extension (which says "Official extension built by Mozilla.") has made it so that when I right click a link and select bookmark link, the menu for choosing which folder to place the bookmark is forced to be dark mode. Due to how few sites I use dark mode on, this sudden reversal of colors makes it hard to read. I tried changing every setting to blue but none of them seemed to effect it. I couldn't find anywhere on the extension page to ask about this without leaving a review so I found my way here. How do I fix this, and if I can't, when is it going to be fixed?

Issue is actually for the extension that I had and now it's not on the extensions that I have. I tried to do a search for it but cannot find it. It's the nielsen mobile and computer extension. I've tried putting in different things (i.e. part of the name, the entire name, etc.) but to no avail. I've had it for years so I don't remember what I put in or it automatically came up when I added this device. I hope someone can tell me where to find it/what to put in the search in order to add it back to my extensions.

I'm using Firefox v126. I'm searching through the add-ons trying to find a few that I like and most don't work with my older version of Firefox. So I click into the version history of the add-on and find an older version of the add-on that will work with the version of Firefox I am running. Except... I click it and I get:

"The add-on downloaded from this site could not be installed because it appears to be corrupt."

say what? ok maybe a fluke, so I click on through, older version, older version, still old version. All give me the same error. Okay, maybe its just the add-on, no, its literally any older version of any add-on.

No way all those versions of add-ons are "corrupt." I can download the .xpi, rename to .zip and view the contents. Anyone run into this particular problem before and if so, how did you fix it? I'm keen to keep v126 of Firefox and would like to use the add-ons that I like to work with it.

FF updated to 150 and I tried to use the new VPN feature but couldn't find it. Looked up the directions and couldn't find where it was supposed to be. After trying the hamburger, more tools and customize toolbar I made the mistake to 'reset toolbar'. I lost my extension shortcuts and when I tried hamburger-more tools-customize toolbar they weren't there. I tried doing it from the extension page, no luck, then I tried to disable the extensions and reenable in hopes their icons would repopulate the toolbar, no luck. Is there a way to do this? It's like FF is blocking me from adding them from the customize toolbar page and the extensions page. Also, I never did find the FF VPN either after it updated to FF 150.

I am trying to make an Add-on to help simplify daily things I do at work. I have already made the addon and it works fine, but I'm trying to improve it but I've run into issues. The addon's popup window scrapes data from our ticketing system, then shows the data that it found and has a print button. That print button opens a new window and prompts to print, then closes automatically. I am printing a receipt with data pertaining to the user, their computer, and location. For certain tickets, I want to hide/remove certain fields, but for other tickets keep those fields. I already have it set up to always show the fields whether there is data there or not, but for this one specific ticket type I want those fields to be hidden. Right now, the version of this addon for Chromium browsers works fine and does what I want it to, but when I try to set it up for Firefox, it does not detect the ticket's item type. Even manually setting the variables to true does not hide the fields. Am I putting the logic for this in the wrong file? Or is it not being injected properly? The popup.js calls content.js, then when I print, it calls print.js and print.html. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/otdi-device-receipt/

I've been using MAC (multi-account containers) for a few months. Awesome feature, especially useful for logging into multiple email accounts in the same tenant (M365, GW, etc). In the recent past, if I had an issue with a particular login, I could go to the Firefox Multi-Account Containers extension button on the top bar, click on it...then Manage Containers, select the container to manage, there was a set of options, one of them being "Clear Cookies and Site Data" (or similarly worded). That would clear the data for that MAC which would resolve my issue. Now. that option is no longer shown when clicking the Manage Containers button. I've included a snapshot of what is shown now.

The ability to clear the data for that particular MAC is invaluable. How can I get that back?

MacOS (26.3.1 a). Firefox 150.0 (aarch64)

P.S. I just found the "Report" option on the extension itself in the Extension settings. I will post this message there as well.

I installed Firefox and the add on Youtubesearchfixer.

It makes no difference.

It asks for permissions I do not see it in the list of apps under permissions

I used Pocket for a while. It was excellent since it allowed taking a webpage and converting it to a document that could be copied and pasted to Microsoft word. This allowed further analysis and work on the contents of the page and was extremely useful.

Now that Pocket is gone is there another extension or a purchased extension that does the same thing on the present day Firefox.

I presently use Windows 7 and Windows 10.

Appreciate any suggestions.

Recently, when I bring up a PDF document, there is a promotion for a signature that appears on the right side of the document. When scrolling, that side of the document can't be read, if you want to print, it obscures the printer properties. I have no need of a signature for anything I do with PDF documents, so how do I get rid of the promotion? The promotion reads: "Sign on the dotted line---or anywhere! "Draw, type, or upload your signature, then place it exactly where you want. Save your go-to signature for next time."
