I had been able to change the color of the email text first line - not just the "tag"

Previously I had been able to change the color of the email text first line - not just add a "tag" at the far right. Is there a way with the updated version to do that. It's much more noticeable to change the text than just add the tag at the far right. Thank you for your help!
