How can I save the login details for multiple subdomains on the same domain? Firefox is treating them all as the same site.
I've seen other people ask this question, and the stock answer appears to be: a) They may be different subdomains, but they're the same site. b) Just add an extra bit on the end of each user name so you can get at the correct one.

a) No they are most definitely not the same site: myFirstClientsDevSite.mytestdomain.com mySecondClientsDevSite.mytestdomain.com myThirdClientsDevSite.mytestdomain.com myFirstClientsUATSite.mytestdomain.com mySecondClientsUATSite.mytestdomain.com myThirdClientsUATSite.mytestdomain.com
You see the problem? Firefox treats all those sites as being "the same site", even though they patently are not.
b) I'm working with a lot more than three clients. Plus, that suggestion is basically "we admit that our product is broken, here's a work-around that a few people may be able to use".
And finally: I'm pretty sure that Firefox used to be able to discriminate between subdomains, so the question isn't so much "how can I get it to work", as "why was it taken away in the first place".

Is the problem that Firefox insists on replacing a currently saved logins for SubA.domain.tld when you try to save a login for SubB.domain.tld? That sounds like a serious problem that has not been a problem in the past.
Or is the problem that Firefox presents a list of unwanted logins from all of the subdomains when you click in a login field? There is a setting for that. I don't see the checkbox on the Settings page, but you can change it this way:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button accepting the risk.

(2) In the search box in the page, type or paste signon.includeOtherSubdomainsInLookup and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the preference to switch the value from true to false
There has never been a problem with saving a login for a different sub domain (origin, what you are referring to is the case where you want to save multiple logins for a different file path on a specific origin.
You can possibly add a new login manually.

Both, actually, but I solved the signon.includeOtherSubdomainsInLookup one myself.
And yes, this was not an issue a week or so ago. Started when I let FF upgrade itself recently. (On 119.0.1 (64-bit).)
Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or if userChrome.css/userContent.css is causing the problem.
- switch to the Default System theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window
