Hi Kevin, It doesn't really look like the Crash report for you sent me Unfortunately I forget exactly what it does look like. The background is black There is a notice that Firefox has stopped. It doesn't say crashed. And something about submitting a report if I choose to. Then there is a box for comments if I want to add any. Then there is a privacy statement At the bottom there are the options to cancel, preview and send. Btw, it has not crashed since yesterday. Thanks, Lisa

So it sounds like you are actually experiencing a hang. Will talk to some people about checking our Play stats.

It was the same notification each time. The term crash never appeared. Firefox has behaved since I last reported that it had stopped. At that time I had not reinstalled any add-ons. Since then I have reinstalled bluhell firewall, ad block, quit, screen shot, and LastPass. This is a considerable improvement since before it was stopping at least 3 times a day, sometimes several times in succession.

One measure i have taken are to clear all private data several times. This was done so I could see if lastpass was actually learning new passwords. It isn't.

I'll wait for your next advice.

It was a small popup that disappeared when I touched the screen trying to take a screen shot. It was not the other notification I get with the option to cancel, preview or send. I used a file manager to search for a log file created today but nothing came up. At the time ff stopped, I had long press exited and had opened Google play. The active apps were gmail, Google play, lastpass, and Textra. What do you make of this. Lisa

Kevin, I just got popped out of ff. I was in my Google account settings. No Notification that ff had stopped. I just found myself on my home screen. There were no other active applications. I looked into some of the apps that you are running Bug 973244 - Firefox hangs after startup if LastPass addon installed I am not sure if you have the lastpass addon or application running.

Does this happen when you have the settings open in the phone application as well as the mobile Firefox browser?

Hi, I do have the LastPass addon for Firefox running now. I have just disabled it for now. But when I removed all add-ons including lastpass sometime back there were fewer problems but they didn't disappear entirely. Apologies, I am not quite sure what having the settings open on the phone and browser means. Can you rephrase? Thanks. Let me know what to do next. Lisa

Arghhh. LastPass addon is disabled and Firefox stopped again. What is worth noting is there are three types of events:

• I just find myself out of the program,
• I'm out of the program and I get a message : unfortunately Firefox has stopped,
• I'm out of the program and a black popup fills the screen with a box where I can add comments and with the option to cancel, preview or send.

Maybe there's more than one thing going on.

The other screen shot of of the preview. It does say the type of report is crash. Please let me know if this is worth following up or if all possibilities have been exhausted already.
