Why do I have to allow automatic reload when viewing my email in cpanel squirel mail?

in the past few days I have encountered the following message whenever I read my email through cpanel. "Firefox prevented this page from automatically reloading" When I click the allow button nothing changes but I can close the message, however, when I do this the message appears with each email that I want to view.
