Hi Michelle, if you are comparing Firefox on Windows/Mac/Linux, the mobile version for Android is very different.

I haven't run Firefox for Android on a Chromebook, just a phone, so I couldn't tell you exactly where things are on your screen. However, if you see a square with a number in it on the top bar, that is the tab list button and you can open a new regular or private tab from that list.

By the way, if you have having a problem with missing toolbars on Windows/Mac/Linux, could you confirm that Firefox is not in its "Full Screen" mode? Try sliding the mouse pointer to the top of the screen and see whether the toolbars roll down.

Reference: Use Firefox in Full Screen mode (if you access this article from your Chromebook, use the "Customize this article" selector in the right column (or wherever it goes in the mobile layout) to change to Windows, Mac, or Linux for relevant steps)

If you have all the bars except the menu bar, see: Restore the Menu bar in Firefox.

Ok well this does not help and apparently it the same issue when on my phone and tablet. On windows I have no issue the tabs open in same window which I was trying to see if that is the case across the board. I guess I will need to use a different browswer as firefox no longer works for me, thanks
